Q: Can this light be dimmed or not? The information says *2 way rotary switch for flexible lighting (low-high) and in the specs it says Light Setting: 1 way On/Off.

Q: The cord runs from the black base in Target.com photo. The store sells the lamp with the cord coming from the gold pole. Are there two versions of the lamp?

Arrived damaged. Horrible packaging job by Target!! I ordered it from a bridal registry. I had to drive a half an hour to a Target location to return/exchange. Of course it was not in stock in store. So I did the return in person and then had to go online to reorder and ship directly to the gift recipient, as it would not arrive in time for the bridal shower. Today I opened another package from Target (also a gift) and once again the item is damaged. 😡

The lamp is doing what’s it supposed to do so far; however, it can be unstable when it is positioned a certain way and will need weights at the base for it to not tip over. For the large price tag, this should not be an issue. The appearance does look good, and it works with a grow light for my precious plants. Will update if it stops working/breaks.

I love these table lamps! I have smaller condo so they fit nicely with the furniture and they are modern and sturdy. For the computer tables (two) we have this lamp at each desk with LED higher bulb not higher than recommended. I bought my own LED bulbs. For the night lamp by the window we use LED but with much less bright levels and love that I can move it downward or upward. I was tired of bulky lamps and this one is easier to dust off. Not like those canvas or cotton lamp shades that attract so much dust. There are just perfect and by now I own three of them. If you’re unhappy with delivery, I would recommend getting them at the store or curbside. No issues with any of them.

Purchased this lamp last night. It was the last one in the store and it is beautiful. Plugged it in and installed a lightbulb. I quickly realized there is no way to turn it on! Looked it up on the website and the entire switch arm is missing! So disappointed!!

Ordered this item and it came damaged the first time at the base. Set up a return and they sent me a replacement. Replacement is damaged too. (See photo). The lamp itself is poorly packaged (see photo). There is no bubble wrap or anything to keep it from moving around in the box if dropped or set down roughly. I’m keeping the replacement because I don’t want to go through the trouble of returning it a second time. And the damage is not too noticeable. Still frustrating it’s so poorly packaged two times in a row and both I received were damaged. However, the lamp is good looking for the price. It looks good in our space without having to spend a fortune. Just wish I didn’t get 2 damaged lamps.
