The pineapple lamps are a great addition to our bedroom! They are somehow kitschy and elegant at the same time! I like how heavy and sturdy they are. The base is made of a heavy resin plastic which I wasn't sure about but have come to love as they are easy to clean and don't mold or rust in our humid environment like our other lamps have. Highly recommend!

I am constantly moving it so that it is straight. No idea what to do to resolve this, but it's nor a huge problem for me. I bought two of them as bedroom night stand lamps and they look awesome.
