La Rochey Posay and Cerave are owned by the same company, Loreal. My skin no longer gets along with either, unfortunately. They have reformulated a lot of their products. This product along with others unfortunately irritated my skin so badly. Please be careful if trying so you don't ruin your skin.

This body and face wash is gentle enough for kids. Light, sensitive scent. Somewhat moisturizing, but not enough like a lotion. Little more on the expensive side, but better quality.

This is my favorite head to toe wash! I use it as a face wash. I also use it on my daughter when she is having an eczema flare up or has a rash. Since it’s marketed as a body wash I really wish it came in a refill pack like the other LRP washes.

I’m really disappointed with the La Roche-Posay Lipikar face wash. I had high hopes for it, but it ended up causing dry patches on my face that were itchy and painful. My skin felt stripped and uncomfortable after using it, which was the opposite of what I was expecting from a product marketed as gentle and hydrating. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone with sensitive or dry skin.

I have eczema, extremely sensitive skin, and an allergy list that makes everyone wonder why I don't live in a bubble. However, this face & body cleanser has worked so well for me! I have used so many different products and I was about to give up on finding a brand that works for me. I love how soft this moisturizing wash makes my entire body feel. I definitely have seen a difference in my face and neck since using this. So much so, that people at work ask if I have makeup on when in reality, I just use this cleanser in the morning and at night every single day. I also match it with a couple of other products that I have tried to create a skin care routine that works best for my skin and its needs. I highly recommend this if you have eczema from head to toe like I do!

I've tried tons of cleansers for my extremely sensitive, often very dry, rosacea, psoriasis, and eczema-prone skin (I seem to get patches of all 3, with different symptoms in different areas.) This is my favorite -- though in winter, I switch to an oil cleanser (I'm looking forward to trying the one from this brand soon.) I find the Lipikar to be very concentrated so it lasts forever, so it's well worth the money. Other cleansers are cheaper but I have to use twice as much. When traveling, I can take half the amount of Lipikar that I would need to take of other brands in my carry-on. It removes makeup, preserves my skin's moisture barrier, and feels very comforting on the skin. This has become my holy grail cleanser and my skin gets nervous at the thought of running out!
Beware! This product contains SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE!

I have sensitive and dry skin. I bought this product to use as a face wash because it is advertised as being gentle and safe for dry to extra dry skin...also, it's La Roche Posay, and I assumed the brand was trustworthy. After using this once daily for 2 weeks, I noticed my cheeks had developed redness, dryness, and bumpiness. I didn't know why until I read the ingredients on the back of the bottle. The SECOND ingredient is sodium laureth sulfate (SLES)! This ingredient is notorious for irritating skin. I have no idea why this is marketed for sensitive skin or as a face wash. I immediately stopped using this on my face and my skin cleared up a week later. Buyer beware!
