I have combination skin and was in a bind--had to go to a formal wedding but wrecked my skin barrier on my chin when I got overzealous treating a hormonal breakout. My skin was patchy, peeling, crepey, red, and super irritated, and I was desperate to cover it with anything. I snagged this on impulse the morning of, and it not only covered all of my issues, but it stayed all night (through a lot of dinner and dancing), didn't irritate my skin, didn't flake off or get cakey, didn't dry me out or settle into creases (I have that issue with Shape Tape, etc.) and didn't break me out. I immediately bought two more, one in a shade lighter as a highlight and another in my skintone. If it helps, I have pale olive skin and use 006 as my highlight and 010 as my regular. I will keep grabbing this stuff for life.

I have light skin with red splotches, melasma and acne. I’m also aging. This is the only make-up that makes my skin look even. I don’t know why people say it’s drying or settles in pores. I don’t have that experience at all, but everyone is different. Loving all the KVD products. I just wish they were more affordable.

This works really well for me. I have combo/acne-prone skin and it doesn’t dry out my drier areas but also sets nicely with powder in my oilier areas. It also does not break me out or feel/smell too “chemical-y.” I would describe the coverage as medium to full—I only combine it with concealer if I have a really noticeable blemish, otherwise it’ll cover more minor discoloration, dark circles, etc. on its own. I have not found a cheaper product that works this well for me, so in that sense I think it’s worth the price.

Why why why does this only have a 3.7/5 stars???! It’s incredible and makes my skin look flawless! When combined with the right moisturizer, you can’t tell I have anything on. You just have to get the right color. Make sure to get a brush that really pushes the product in. Give it a try! It’s not a foundation and it’s not a concealer, it’s somewhere in between!
