Cherry Pie Filling - 21oz - Favorite Day™

the is truly tasty pie filling , but the can we got had food dyes in it , and it doesn't seem like its worth it to add the dye when there are many natural options , would like to see that changed at some point .

BE VERY CAREFU.L I made a pie for family including children. The pie had 16 cherry pits. We had to go through the chilrens pie before allowig them to eat it. I have used other brand for years never a pitL

This is the best cherry pie filling I have ever had. There are lots of cherries.

Hate that it has red 40. This is the only brand of cherry filling sold at Target, and the only canned maraschino cherries as well. So sad we hve to color a FILLING

Although I could take back or exchange over half the cans were dented. I won't buy on line again. I guess better to get from the store so you can check the cans. The filling is good though I recommend the filling just not ordering on line

Contained numerous stems still attached to the cherries. Flavor was just ok. Definitely would not buy again

Terrible! Had little pieces of pits that could have broken someone’s teeth! I dont know who to complain to but it’s really dangerous so beware

The cherries look nice, but it has a weird taste.

There aren’t very many cherries in the filling, about 2/3 of the can is just the syrupy goo. I won’t be buying this again.

There is Red 40 dye in this product, dangerously inflammatory

This has such a strange taste. Doesn’t taste like cherries. Cherries are so small and it’s more gelly than fruit. Couldn’t even eat it. Ick.

Wow, making this pie was easy & fun. I used the recipe on the can which takes the guesswork away. We added some ice cream & wow I was impressed with myself 😀😀

You'll love this cherry pie filling! I'm a gourmet cook and have been completely disappointed by most other manufacturers of cherry pie fillings recently. Either they have a metallic taste, they've eliminated the red coloring of the cherries (and they look brown), too few cherries in the can, look like mush, or the filling is an unplesant gloppy overly-sweet consistancy. NOT THIS ONE! the reviews are true it is absolutely perfect. the can is loaded loaded loaded with cherries. One can was plenty to top a 9-in cheesecake, and you can see there so many cherries they were shoulder to shoulder and went to the edge of the cake! The Taste is fantastic the feeling is not overly sweet and the cherries have lots of flavor and are nice and tart! a very good flavor profile with the tart cherries and the sweet filling. By comparison, Luckyleaf, Comstock, e.tc should be ashamed of their product. I'm going back to Target to purchase several cans. I'm terrified they're going to discontinue it! Trust me. you won't be disappointed with this one!

Tasted great, but there was a lot in one of the cherries. Almost broke a tooth. Be careful.

I like how simple and easy this makes pie baking, but I think we can accept cherries for their natural color and remove the unnecessary Red-40. 😄

I usuall I usually my don’t purchase off labels on certain items. But there was such a huge price difference. I went ahead and tried the target brand. I was surprisingly delighted that not only is it a good value it’s very good and tasty.

I usually only buy Wilderness pie filling for this dessert but Target didn’t have it - I was pleasantly surprised that this brand is just as good - (flavor/texture) & price is better!
