Damaged Silverware
Some pieces were scratched and one fork looks like it has a deep nick in or almost out of it. When I opened both sets (I bought two sets of matching each other) I had put the packaging in the trash, so that is why I did not attempt to return the sets.

Great basic set
I bought this set for $10 and received a promo discount. It was a great purchase. It comes in a cute black color for twice the price but since my flatware (mainly forks) keeps disappearing in my house -I’m not looking to throw away my money. This set is a bit smaller and lighter than the more expensive silverware but it’s not so much that it feels like it is for children. I put them in the dishwasher upon purchasing, no issues there. No weird edges, scratches or discomfort when using. One day when the kids are older, I might get a fancier set but for now these are wonderful.

Chipped Coating
I bought this set because it was cheap but that was my mistake. Some of the outer coating was chipped right out of the box. This should have been a warning sign but I decided to use some un-chipped utensils. However, after doing some light tasks of slicing, the knife began to loose coating on its serrated edge. Feels like a health concern. Would not recommend.

Finish wore off on hands during first use
After we washed these utensils, I was excited to use them for dinner. The black finish wore off on our hands and made me concerned if we also accidentally ate some of it. It’s highly concerning for me as I am currently pregnant. I do not recommend buying this product. I guess you get what you pay for.
