  • A: Total amount will vary depending on individual potting/planting needs. Tomatoes, for example will require more dirt as their roots grow long and deep. It's best to consult local nursery or garden retailer for proper requirements. On average 4-5 50lbs bags should be adequate.

    Nice when new, rusty in less than one year

    Bought this last year. The galvanized version. As new looked good, takes a bit to assemble it with all the screws but is straight forward also without help. Less than one year old and there is a good amount of rust around the screws and in the corners.

    Sage green color fades quickly!

    I bought my original bed (first photo) and really loved it so I bought a second a few weeks later. I put together the second bed last night (bed on right) and can’t believe how much the color has faded from the sun. The first bed is on the left. I bought these because of the color, I loved the minty green but now it’s fading to a blue. I could have bought these a lot cheaper from Lowe’s but I bought these because of the color. The beds are very easy to put together and seem to be good structural quality but the support bars that run through the center are cheap quality and easily bent. I haven’t filled them with dirt yet.

    This worked perfectly!

    I was looking for a 2' high enclosure for the aerator pump at my pond. I ended up using just two of the 4' sections on the sides and had the perfect 4X4' box. It was easy to assemble and looks terrific!

    Overall a nice planter box

    Overall a nice product. Easy to assemble with minimum tools. You are able to fit a lot in this planter. Make sure it's in the final location before filling. Once filled, your not moving this very easily. Would buy more in the future.
