Do not recommend

Can not recommend this fan and am not the type of person to ever leave reviews, but couldn't resist helping others who might be inclined. Couldn't agree more on earlier comment about assembly. I've installed dozens of these and this was a nightmare. Most fans with remotes come with integrated transmitters, quick connect harnesses for light kits, dimmers. Not this one- you have to wire the transmitter to the fan with like 6 or 7 wires, try cramming the whole thing between ceiling and fan, then hope the wires for the light kit don't get pulled up through the column ( like my did- start over:l ). No harness for light kit, no dimming feature - what? I guess I made an assumption here ?Even my 20 year old fans and newer cheap fans for spare bedrooms have dimming. Worst part, all done finally and I can't feel a thing on my porch sitting directly beneath it at full speed. ( yes I have it going the correct direction) Most expensive fan I've bought and highly disappointed.
