A: It's not, in fact many of the bad reviews aren't even verified and they (as well as the previous answer to this question, that I have reported) are examples of extreme ratings manipulation.

This shampoo smells so so good it's also a great shampoo. I wish it wasn't just a cleansing shampoo. It pairs great with the strengthening shampoo. I wish I could get everything I own in this scent. I would own this scent in a candle, oil diffuser, laundry detergent, you name it I would buy it. The shampoo leaves my hair feeling very soft and supple and just clean. I pair it with the santal body/hair spray and the smell last all day. I get so many compliments when I use this shampoo and spray. It has replaced all of my sprays and perfumes. I'm obsessed with it.

I have been looking for a good drugstore shampoo for the last 10 years. The salon stuff isn't always my favorite and can be very expensive over time. It is hard to keep trying new salon shampoos as well due to the prices. The Blake Brown Wild Nectar Santal shampoo leaves my hair feeling very soft, but not weighed down or greasy keeping volume throughout my hair. I have a fine hair type so it is usually difficult to find one that works well for me. I'm not sure how this would work with other hair types. It is sulfate free but still lathers very well. Not only does it leave my hair feeling supple but the scent is intoxicating. I have gotten so many compliments from people. My boyfriend, my sisters, friends, mom, cowokers have all said I smell amazing. People ask me what I'm wearing all the time. The scent lingers all day in your hair. It is very strong so if you are sensitive to smells and perfumes then I would stay clear. It is just an all around feel good scent, I love it. Very cozy and almost nostalgic, but feminine and not musky or too floral. I would honestly love a bodywash, a candle or an oil diffuser with this scent as well. I'm obsessed with this shampoo and keep it stocked in my bathroom.

I bought this a few days ago and personally having curly hair, i always like experimenting with shampoos to fit my hair needs. Unfortunately as much as i wanted to love this shampoo and the hair mask. The shampoo made my scalp dry, including itchiness and slight burning sensation a few hours after showering (not horrible but unpleasant) that i had to apply rosemary oil to soothe my scalp. The bright side is that the scent was not too strong and actually liked it, which it also did stay in my hair for about 3 days. The packaging is cute too in my opinion. I had high hopes but unfortunate it did not go well with my curly hair that i ended up returning :(

I’ve never read more conflicting reviews on a product/line than this one. This is my honest review, only based on the product. I liked the look of the bottle, the smell, and the feel of the shampoo. I felt it was more clarifying than nourishing. Even though I like the look of the packaging, I don’t like the twist off top design. It’s less convenient than a squeeze bottle or pump bottle and is more plastic than it needs to be.

DsdogI did not have a good experience with these products (tried them all). I have an oily scalp and wavy hair that's prone to dryness and frizz. These products did not help with that and made the dryness and frizz worse. I was very disappointed and switched to Function of Beauty to repair the damage. I got their custom SOS set because of how bad my hair felt.
