Q: Can you think about changing the can to make it easier to open? It's difficult as is with only 1indent and then when you hold your baby it's nearly impossible to open. Love the product not the can!!!

A: Great question! Each unopened can of ByHeart is good for 24 months, but for exact dates, you can see the "Use By" date on the bottom of your can. Once opened, our formula can be used within one month (be sure to tightly cover the can after each use!).

A: Thanks for considering ByHeart! Our infant formula is made with a patented protein blend that includes whole milk, so it does contain dairy. While we have not studied tolerance of our formula specifically in infants with dairy sensitivity, results of our clinical trial showed our formula was easy to digest with less spit-up and softer poops in our nationwide clinical trial. That being said, infants have a wide range of sensitivities, so we suggest you speak to your pediatrician to see if ByHeart might work for you and baby!

We began formula as a supplement, but now are exclusively formula feeding. The formula we started with seemed to be giving her gassy belly aches, and spitting up was becoming more often. The switch to ByHeart was the best thing we could've done. No more belly aches. Spitting up has become almost obsolete. It dissolves better. And I feel much more confident and at ease about the ingredients being put in her tiny body. While a little more pricy, I will gladly pay more for better quality.

I did a lot of research while pregnant for a great formula with ingredients that I felt good about and landed on By Heart. I planned to breastfeed, but ordered one can to have on hand "just in case" so I knew I wouldn't have to stress about what my newborn would eat if for some reason I couldn't provide milk. We didn't end up needing it then, but began combo feeding around 6 months so that I could have more freedom without the need to pump (I figured out with my first baby that my small output via a pump wasn't worth the emotional stress!) After some initial reluctance to take formula instead of the "real deal" baby took to it just fine and now loves a full bottle. Switching back and forth between nursing and formula has been completely seamless, no tummy or poop issues at all - you can't even tell she's having anything other than her usual food diet and milk. Highly recommend having some on hand from the beginning!

We found ByHeart while my baby was struggling starting at 6 months to get enough breast milk from me. We were exclusively nursing and all of a sudden she would wake every 1. 5 hours through the night, to nurse. In my own exhausted delusional state, I thought it was due to every other reason on the book - jet lag (we were traveling), teething, needing comfort) not once did I think hunger. Every 1. 5 hour wakeups continued for two and a half months. Until I decided to give some bottles with formula before bed. After a few weeks of looking for formula I felt good about giving, we landed on this stuff. Thanks to getting more to eat, she only wakes up once a night. I truly never thought possible! I rest easy knowing that the ingredients are top quality, that it’s organic, and the container, delivery system is incredibly user friendly. Oh! It’s dissolvable and the subscription service is icing on the cake. Now she’s fully transitioned to this formula. I’m grateful.

I started using ByHeart with my second baby when I was ready to wean off of EBF. I had actually tried some other brands first but they made my baby super constipated. I had read reviews that said this formula helped babies who were constipated from my previous brand so I jumped right in. Not only are the ingredients in ByHeart the BEST, but the advertising of “gentle on bellies” is exactly what it says. My baby had zero problems moving to this brand of formula. I started by combo feeding until I was fully swapped over to fully formula. ByHeart made this transition so easy and gentle for both my mama heart and my baby. I HIGHLY recommend this formula for anyone looking for something that is clean, safe, and gentle on little tummy’s.

I love this! I combo feed my baby girl right now and it works well. She will drink just this or this with my breast milk or be fine if it’s just breast milk alone. It is a little stinky and needs warm water for mixing, but baby seems to enjoy it and is happy and healthy. Make sure to properly close it after each use.

As a mom who nursed my firstborn well over his first year, struggling with milk supply with my second baby has been hard to say the least. We had to use formula early on, and I just grabbed the brand I knew from our time as foster parents in a hurry, thinking it would only be for a short time. Things got harder, and we had to keep supplementing with the formula. I hated the ingredients in that formula, and told my husband that if this baby was going to be mostly formula fed, then I wanted to research and find the formula that’s the best and that I’m comfortable with. I started researching, and a family member told me about Byheart and suggested I try it. I loved what I read, and decided to slowly transition her. She was already starting to get constipated on the other formula, and spit up a lot. After a week or so completely switched to Byheart (plus still getting some breastmilk) her constipation was gone and she was spitting up less and just a much happier baby! She started gaining weight beautifully and has been thriving ever since. We love Byheart!

I wanted my daughter to love this due to the ingredients, but it didn't work for us. She had terrible gas and tummy issues while on this. Not to mention huge blowouts that would result in us having to throw away the clothes she was wearing. I even tried a couple of weeks of Kendamil to see if that helped. Issues got better, and when we went back to ByHeart, all the same issues returned. Just not for us, I guess. It also created an insane amount of bubbles and froth when mixing, even stirring it didn't really help.

Might seem silly but the lids seem to be made of two pieces and in a lot of our cans the two pieces do not stay together so it makes it so that you have trouble opening and closing the lid as it just keeps turning while the other piece isn’t turning enough. When the baby is howlin’ and you just want to get the formula ready asap to make her happy it really exacerbates the issue.

My daughter loves this formula. I really like the ingredients that are included in the formula. She is able to go to the bathroom without any resistance. I have observed significant changes in my daughters’ development such as weight gain and she is growing very beautifully thanks to the formula. I breast feed my daughter throughout the day and give her formula 1-2 times a day to ensure that she gets all the nutrients and vitamins that she needs.
