Like another reviewer, I followed the directions exactly (except I pressed 3x as long as recommended) and the strips wouldn’t even stay up on their own without the black plastic. Worthless.

I bought these so I can finally hang up curtains in my bedroom so the sunrise doesn't wake me up. Instead I got this terrible product that doesn't even stay on the wall, if anything this wakes me up before the sun does. It fell off my wall even though I changed the command strips twice, purchasing the x-large command strips, doubling them in each hook and they still fell off the wall and chipped my tv. Save your time and just drills the holes into ur wall, more secure and you don't have to worry about this peeling off your walls.

I bought two sets, and neither stayed up for more than 12 hours. One set held two curtains, they were heavy but still definitely less weight than the advertised capacity. The curtains fell within a few hours, and the strips took a chunk of paint off the wall with it. The second set held one curtain, maybe 2lbs total, and it also fell within 12 hours of putting it up. I’m so disappointed and frustrated, having spent $30 for these two packs and I still don’t have curtains up.

Falls Down and Doesn't Hold Weight Listed

We used 3 of these to hold a rod and curtains that definitely were less than 10lbs total (the max weight listed for using only 2 of these, but we used 3 just in case) and it still fell down after only a handful of hours up. Very disappointed and will not be buying again.
