Q: Is this safe to use if you have rosacea?

A: Not a doctor but a rosacea sufferer, also. What bothers one person’s skin could be tolerated extremely well by the next. That being said, I think it’s a very well formulated vitamin C and Dr. Sam Ellis (the creator of Prequel) has rosacea, too.

This product should be in a bottle with a pipette/dropper bottle. You can barely hit the pump top and the product goes EVERYWHERE. It is such a waste of product and money. I love their face wash, but products of such a thin consistency should not be in a pump bottle. I would not repurchase unless they change the packaging/bottle.

I had purchased a few bottles of this with great results. My most recent order in late May (now early July) has already oxidized and gone rancid. It's weird because an older bottle with a little left in it is still lighter in color. Overall I think this product is great but this quality issue will make me go back to my previous (timeless) VitC. bummer,

I originally bought this product because I saw great reviews on the cleanser but wasn’t in the market for cleanser and in the market for vitamin C. So I grabbed this because of the brand before reading any comments about it. My first thoughts were how awful the bottle was designed. It basically squirts out like a jet stream into your hand, almost making a mess. And then after applying to my face, I thought how strange - it smells like a hot dog. I came to the reviews to see if anyone had these thoughts and sure enough there are many. I am returning this tomorrow.

I had high hopes as I like Dr. Ellis. I have used another Vit. C serum for many years, but this is less expensive. I did curb order and the bottle had leaked out all over and was oxidized so did replacement- the new bottle completely oxidized in less 6 weeks- had to dump- reading reviews on Prequel website and this seems to be common issue- waste of money to not be able to even use bottle up before goes bad! I am going back to my other Vitamin C- hopefully the company gets this rectified.

What in the world, Prequel? I read the reviews from so many who said it smelled like "hot dog water" but I assumed maybe they just got a bad bottle. This is every bit of that stench and more. I couldn't stomach it. I wasted all of my other skincare because I had applied it before and I had to wash this off my face as quickly as possible. And even after washing my face and hands, it STILL SMELLED. I couldn't get it off of me. I am a very loyal Prequel user but this...no way. Returning immediately. Someone needs to investigate this because I've used a few other vitamin c serums and they do not smell like this.

I like Prequel but this product is awful. It leaks and the pump shoots out and sprays everywhere. I have used Vitamin C for years of all price ranges. This one is very sticky and tacky. I will not repurchase and I am glad I didn’t spend more on it.

This product was terrible. I love Prequel, but this was awful. I don't know if I received a defective item, but when I opened it and did one pump, it splattered everywhere. I tried again, and it was the same result. The consistency was like yellow-orange water, and then my husband said I smelled like metal. I washed it off and returned it. Prequel should reformulate this product because their other products are good, but this one does not meet those standards.

55yo, sun damaged, normal with a chance for acne skin. I switched to this from Timeless, which I also really like. My skin likes it a lot and I love how it works so beautifully with all the other Prequel products. I've ditched all my high-dollar doctors office products for Prequel and my skin could not be HAPPIER!!

I love this brand, but mine was oxidized, had a bad smell and irritated my skin. Ended up throwing it out. Wish I had just returned it.
