  • A: Not a doctor but a rosacea sufferer, also. What bothers one person’s skin could be tolerated extremely well by the next. That being said, I think it’s a very well formulated vitamin C and Dr. Sam Ellis (the creator of Prequel) has rosacea, too.

    Smells like 90s play grill

    I had a playskool magic smoking grill as a kid in the 90s. The smell of the fake smoke that came out of the grill made me feel nauseous and this stuff just so happens to smell exactly the same. I really like Prequel but this stuff smells AWFUL.

    Lucent C is great!

    I love this. It does not irritate my skin, and it works. since i bought it i can see a difference in my skin. It is glowy, not sweaty looking but like your skin glows from the inside. Normally vitamin C irritates my skin so i stop using that timeless serum one..and i took a chance on this one...My favorite serum so far...i can also see my skin bouncier. it does smell like hot dogs...but the smell goes away after a minute.

    Best Vit C Serum!

    So far I am really loving this Vitamin C serum and have not experienced any irritation or sensitivity. The serum provides an immediate glow and works beautifully under my sunscreen. I have not been using this serum long enough to determine if it will have any effect on evening skin tone.

    I’ve been using this serum for less than a month, but I can already see good results. I really like it. The only downside is a slight stickiness, but it’s easily balanced out by the rest of my skincare routine.

    Horrible packaging! You have to pump the whole thing in your palm or risk splashing it everywhere. The smell is even worse! Couldn't stand it. Returning it to the store now.     Smells bad

    While unfortunately I cannot comment on if the product works, I can tell you it smells horrendous. It literally made me nauseous. This also feels like the wrong kind of packaging for how thin the liquid is. The serum shoots out of the pump and not only is product wasted but it makes a mess.

    Not for sensitive skin

    Used for a few months and my sensitive skin never liked it. It burns when I put it on and makes my face super red. The scent is also terrible. I would definitely skip this product.

    The real deal

    Literally just like the drunk elephant vitamin c serum!!!!!! Works great. The reviews mentioning the smell are so dramatic, yes it smells I guess(?) like hot dogs lol that’s what all active vitamin c serums smell like. That’s how you know it’s going to work. Smells just like the drunk elephant one and it works just as good. Love it in the mornings it makes my skin feel plump and tight and I have noticed dark spot lightening!
