This is a nice, light weight formula that feels great on my combination, acne-prone skin under my moisturizing sunscreen. It does have a distinctive sweet smell, kind of like a fruity bubblegum that I don't love, but not a deal breaker for me.

This serum has a STRONG medicinal scent. It’s so overpowering I’m having trouble using it. It also leaves a sticky residue which fades slightly. I would recommend trying any other vitamin c serum over this one.

I want to start by saying I love the bounce hydrating serum but wanted to try this out. It smells so bad, idk how this made it to the world without anyone mentioning it. I also am not a fan of the consistency at all, it’s more of an oil.

I used for probably 3 days and my skin became very irritated. Bumpy, itchy, and almost scaly feeling. I stopped using immediately. Also the product has an off smell. Wouldn’t recommend or if you do use it definitely test on a portion of skin for a few days.

I got this about 2 months ago and have been using it off and on. I would notice after using it my face would feel irritated for a few days. About 2 weeks ago I had eye swelling, a rash, and peeling skin. I thought it was maybe an allergy to something so I stopped using all my skin care and let my skin heal, and slowly started adding things back. This was the last thing added back and after one use my eyes were almost swollen shut I am completely broke out all over my face and my face burns. I had to go get a steroid shot. It has been awful. My skin is peeling and looks terrible. I threw this product in the trash. Just be cautious. I don’t usually have super sensitive skin but my face cannot tolerate this.

It has worked for me: it doesn’t break out my sensitive skin, and for those complaining about the smell, that’s the smell of pure ascorbic acid. If you don’t like it, there are many vitamin C derivative options (and less effective) available on the market. The sausage water smell is just proof that this is authentic ascorbic acid. I love it!

I love the glow it gives my skin and it layers well. The smell is horrible though. The smell does dissipate once it’s on your skin but if you don’t wash your hands after you will be smelling it all day

This serum smells so gross and it didn’t hydrate or feel great on my skin at all. It actually gave me chemical burn on 2 different spots on my face. And would not go away or heal on its own. I had to go see a dermatologist to get help. Do not use this product.
