GMP maintains that certain standards and processes are used during ordering, storage of materials, and all features of production that prevent cross-contamination with ingredients that are not within the specific product. According to these standards, as laid out by the FDA, the normal quality procedure for Dietary Supplement manufacturers requires a complete breakdown and cleaning of the equipment and room between the making of different products. This cleaning process eliminates any cross-contamination issues from one product to the next. Upon completion of the cleaning process, a Quality evaluation is completed and swab tests are typically performed to ensure the room and equipment are completely sanitized, safe, and free from any particles or residue from any previous manufacturing batches.  We hope this information helps!
