Easy to prepare!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the most part I really enjoyed these scones and so did my family! They were very easy to prepare and looked great when they were cooked! The packaging made them very easy to prepare as well. I found that they were moist and did not crumble easily! My only critique of them is they could have had a little more orange flavor. I definitely would like to try more different flavors from Fisher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little box of mix is so easy to make, and it makes 8 good-sized scones, though I wish it was a little bigger, so it would have made more. The flavor was on point, not to tart from the cranberries. The appearance is perfect.

Not too sweet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh out of the box, this dough smelled amazing. It cooked up wonderfully. However, the dough is not very sweet. I personally would have preferred a sweeter dough. They are pillowy soft though. So they definitely tasted delicious with some jam in the middle or a simple frosting to sweeten it up.

You can sure taste the orange and cranberry. It has a light texture and the box makes 8 generous size portions. I highly recommend this baking mix.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This scone mix really takes the guesswork out of baking! It's got easy to follow directions, and everything turned out exactly as it was intended. The flavor was good, but texture seemed a bit dry for me. I'd love it if there was a glaze mix, but i just made it myself after realizing that I like things a bit sweeter. It turned out delicious! I'll definitely be using this mix again if I see it in stores. Its an easy way to whip up a dessert or breakfast when company is coming!

Cranberry orange scones
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I live in the Pacific NW, so I appreciate the Fisher story on the back of the box regarding coming from sustainable farms around here. The scones themselves were pretty easy to make, and I never bake. They were a little dry but I left them in 12 minutes. They were great with a little butter and marmalade! My English partner liked them too. I look forward to trying their other products!

Scones without pain
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The real test of a breakfast treat is: is it easy enough to make before I’ve had coffee? The answer is: yes! These scones are delicious, not too sweet, and come together quickly. No messing around with butter which is nice. The ingredients are normal and things that I feel comfortable feeding my family. These are absolutely delicious fresh out of the oven with some marmalade, and the crumb is the perfect amount of fluffy and toothy. The box instructions are right on- really don’t fold the dough more than 6 times! Follow them and you will have a great scone. Would buy again.

Lacking flavor but easy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On box there is an option recipe to make the mix into waffles so that’s what I did, my family enjoys that more than scones. Was honestly really excited cause I’m a huge fan of anything cranberry and orange, but the flavor just wasn’t there as I had hoped. It was pretty timid compared to other things I’ve tried, usually the two together pack a nice flavor. The directions were clear and easy to follow, simple things needed, was easy to put together and make. Mixing was no issue and cooked up nicely just my only complaint is lack of flavor.

While I’m not usually a big scone person, I still appreciated the chance to try it. The flavor was nice, but it was a bit on the dry side for my preference.

Dough is too runny
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The directions are very easy, only 3 ingredients. My dough was so runny that I could not knead it. I added flour to it. Our local fair has these scones and so maybe I’m spoiled but they were not good. Not many cranberries an I couldn’t taste the orange. I think if I would have added stuff to it, I could have improved them. They do not look at all like the picture on the box. I’ve made scones from scratch many times and they are pretty simple to make, so I suggest making your own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mix was a little challenging to prepare, so just make sure you have adequate flour below and on top of the dough before kneading to prevent stickiness. This makes 8 standard size scones and are great served plain or with butter and jam. They are moist inside with a slightly crisp exterior. The dough is not sweet, but the cranberries and orange zest adds a burst of flavor. Highly recommend!

Good for a box mix!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were pretty good for a box mix! The dough was really sticky after adding the cream and water so I would recommend using less water than it calls for. I used a bench scraper to cut the rounds into 4 pieces but next time I would add an egg wash so the tops have a nice shine. They baked perfectly in 12 minutes! I found the overall flavor to be a bit bland but once you add a little butter and jam they taste great!

Waffles!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an unexpected surprise to realize that this delightful box of scone mix could be turned into waffles! My son was the one who noticed the alternate directions on the box and requested we try them that way! How could I say no! They were so surprising and really delicious! The orange and cranberry flavor was prominent without being overpowering or overwhelming! They weren’t dry and had a really lovely crumb for a waffle! We used a glaze and a little maple syrup and a really wonderful breakfast was had by all! I had not heard of this brand before but for a quick delicious breakfast, I’ll definitely be on the lookout to add a few to my pantry for future uses! I received this item in exchange for my honest review.
