Very disappointing purchase
Although these lamps were packaged well the product itself was a huge disappointment. One of the lamps had rust all along the bottom of the metal base and it looks like something was oozing along the top of the base because there is a weird drip mark as well as rust. The other lamp had a perfect base but has black marks on the grey painted surface and the felt coaster bottom was pushed in. These are heavy lamps and I really liked the style but unfortunately they are being returned and I will not be reordering. One and done on this purchase.

Great, classic look. We have these in a mid-century modern house and they fit right in. I was concerned that the taupe-ish color would look brown against a lot of white and grey but they seem to take on the color of the surroundings. These lamps were super inexpensive but you’d never guess it. They look great in person.

Arrived damaged and the gold is very gaudy
Like many other reviews, one of my lamps came damaged. It was scratched right in the front. The outer box was In perfect condition so it didn’t happen during the delivery process. The company that makes and packages the lamps clearly has no quality control or is careless during the packaging process. As far as the lamp goes, the gold is very gaudy. Online it looked softer. If it was more of a brushed soft gold it would be nice. This shade of gold is obnoxious, shiny, very bright yellow gold. If your going for the middle eastern gold vibe then this is the lamp for you. Good luck getting it in an acceptable condition and without damage. The gray part of the lamp is more of a taupe color (brown gray) has a concrete look and Feels like it’s painted with chalk paint.

I’m so happy with this purchase - I wanted “earth tones” for our bedroom, and these stood out to me on an instagram ad. They are expensive looking, the shade is solid material, and the gold base/top are a nice touch. You do need to make sure not to scratch the base, the material will easily scuff. A little bit glamorous, a little bit traditional. Absolutely love them! The concrete is a smooth finish and looks great against the brass detail at the base. The cord is gray braided fibers and is much more appealing than the basic cord most lamps come with. The shade is a very bright white so if you’re looking for a warm shade this is not it.
