[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater is great for heating yourself when you don't want to turn up the heat in the whole house. It has a fairly long cord that can accommodate most spaces. For the size it can go as hot as you want it to go.

Comfortable fit around my neck. Not heavy at all. Pushes out a good amount of heat. Easy to charge even in the car.

My mom has a wood burning stove and every weekend I go over to her house and load her wood rack with wood. One day a few weeks ago the temperatures were below zero, and the wind was horrible. This saved me and kept me warm! It was a little uncomfortable to wear underneath all of the layers I had, and I'm sure you aren't supposed to wear it that way lol But it definitely worked and kept me warm during some of the coldest temps MI has had in a while! I would definitely recommend!

Was able to sit outside for a Christmas parade in 40 degree weather with just that and a ball cap and a jacket and pants

Something that won’t get caught in the machinery and forcibly remove my head from its perch. This heater is exactly what I needed. I can adjust the heat setting or just wear it turned off. It is thick and sturdy so it does wonders to block the wind. The only downside is that my beard keeps getting caught in the plastic housing. Other than that I’d say this was worth the investment

I tested it during the recent storm and it lived up and beyond my expectations. The charge was quick and it kept me warm for a while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing heats up quick. It is pretty big and bulky. If you have a thicker neck it might be tight, as it doesn’t have much give. It has 4 different heat settings. Once you turn it off it instantly gets cold, but the highest setting is almost enough to burn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to try a Handy Heater Freedom heater and provide my thoughts. I was surprised at how heavy and large this item was. It fits around your neck, but it feels very sturdy and heavy. You charge this with a USB connection to a computer. There is a fairly short usb cord, so you have to ensure you have a roughly 3 foot space to connect and lay the heater down from the usb port. You plug this in and watch the indicator lights to see when the heater is full, by the lights filling up, there are 4 indicators, which are also, when turned on, the level of heat that you are choosing to use to heat your body/neck area. This unit fits around your neck. The back, rounded part isn't heated as much as the sides, but the sides that fit around your neck and near the front of your neck area, you really will notice the heat. If you have a very large neck, this likely wouldn't fit so comfortably or feel good against your neck and skin when the heater is on. When this is first put on, not sure if it is due to that area not normally feeling heat, my skin really seemed to notice the heat and at first, it felt uncomfortable. But, I adjusted to the feeling and it wasn't bothersome. The charges seem to last a decent amount of time, roughly 4-6 hours from my experience. Charging seems to take quite a while, for me, but I was connected via a laptop usb port, so unsure if that would vary with other usb connections. The different levels of heat, personally, around my neck, I really couldn't distinguish between the lower level and higher level. I know that I did start feeling a bit warmer than I had previously. Lately, we have been dealing with negative double digits TEMPS with negative wind chills in the 30's below. It helped me "think" and really warmer than I felt before. Mind you, I was wearing in my lower level of my house that is partly underground, but always much colder than I like. I work downstairs for 10 hours a day and find myself feeling chilled and this has helped offset that cold that I usually am feeling. Might be a mental game or it really could be helping me feel warmer and I like that! Something fairly simple, easy to put on and use, and it's hand's free, other than turning on and putting it around your neck. The weight of the unit feels decent and doesn't' feel super heavy around the neck. I was worried about it when I first held it, but upon wearing it, after a short while, you really don't realize it after a while. This is a nice item, glad to be able to have it as this winter seems to be making my body feel super cold this year and anything to offset that cold, helps!

I just throw it around my neck and it makes me feel so much warmer. It’s light so other than being warm you can barely tell it’s there. I’ve been using it when I feed the cows and walk my son to the bus. It’s really great!! Easy to set up too. I highly recommend you giving it a try. It would be amazing for snowmobiling trips too.
