used this moisturizer day and night and it held off oil so well!! woke up the next day with the thinnest layer of oil on my face that it was practically non existent! my only qualm was the smell. its strong but hard to pinpoint. besides that it glides smoothly on the face like a gel and just thick enough to provide hydration like a cream moisturizer. no breakouts either and i breakout pretty easily. most likely its because this product has no niacinamide which my skin hates.

I've used other beekman 1802 products that have been great. This one I had high hopes for as someone with combo, acne-prone, sensitive skin. But the moment I put it on my face started burning so bad I had to go wash it off. I don't know what ingredient caused this but if you've got sensitive skin, I'd try something else.

This is nice and lightweight, one of the reasona i like a gel moisturizer, but this doesnt help with shine or oil control at all. At least it doesnt do anything for me. I think it does give a good amount of hydration though.

I had high hopes for this moisturizer. It smells great and feels nice when you first apply, but within a few minutes it quickly absorbed and dried my skin. I tried multiple times and all the same result. It doesn't last and dried out my skin.

Really like the feel of this moisturizer! Unfortunately, almost immediately my skin was tingling and turned red. With continued use I'm sure would have cause a perioral dermitis flare up around my mouth/nose. Not sure if its the lactic acid or a different ingredient. I'll keep it and use it on my forehead because it seems like it (minus the redness that fades lol but love the peptide ingredients). Giving it 3 stars, as it seems like an okay product, just not for me and my skin!

This gel moisturizer feels great going on and smells so good with a light citrus scent. It feels light but provides a good amount of moisture.

Even when isolating my skincare routine with only this moisturizer, I still got pretty oily throughout the day. The product sometimes had an unpleasant scent but could also just be combined with other products in my routine. I do like the consistency and texture because it's not too heavy or watery. A little bit of product goes a long way and this one bottle has lasted. I would still recommend the product but would personally use during winter when my skin is more dry.

I recieved a sample of this product with my most recent Ulta order. The packaging was cute, description very simple and clear, so I thought I'd give it a shot during my bedtime cleansing routine. I applied the recommended amount and loved the initial feel and smell of the moisturizer. A little goes a long way and my skin felt great. Within a minute of application, my skin started to feel hot and tight. When I looked in the mirror, my entire face was red, splotchy and burning. This faded after about 10 minutes and the redness slowly started to go away about 20 - 30 minutes after that. Not sure why this would have such a negative reaction on my skin. Had this not happened, I most likely would have considered purchasing the product.

It is a good lighy weight moisturizer, but not best fir combination skin. The best way to use this is to pair it with sunscreen.

No offensive or strong fragrance and soft velvet/matte to touch when tried down. Leaves skin with gorgeous glow on its own for no makeup days! Excellent move in innovation and expansion with this collection and its purpose + effort. And love every single thing about the moisturizer. Packaging / component is my fave style for moisturizer application! The yellow is a real prett plus, too! The formula is so lightweight but doesn't skimp on the feeling of hydration immediately and hours later! It dries down super quick leaving your face with a soft matte finish and a gorgeous glow! Makeup applies beautifully and wears really well on top of it. No real smell. Clean, effective, gentle formula. Thoughtful, sustainable sourcing and production with intentional thought given to long-term possibilities and potential effects for various product lines, current ways, opportunities for change/grwoth, etc. Love ALL things Beekman—products, people, and the whole same company vibe alike!

The Beekman products are the only products I will use on my face for years I have broken out with many products on the market since I have been using Beekman products, I have had no breakouts at all. I tried the new hydrating product in the yellow tube and was delighted by the results. My skin is so soft and smooth, and I am a senior citizen. Keep up the excellent work with the Beekman products.

After a month of consistent use, Monday through Friday, I'm impressed by its performance. The formula strikes the perfect balance – it's neither slimy nor thick. Its a great base under makeup too. For my oily skin, this moisturizer provides just the right amount of hydration without any excess shine. Another thing I loved is that it is unscented and pregnancy-safe, which has been a lifesaver during my pregnancy with heightened sensitivity to smells.

Beekman buys review these are all fake and the product is horrible. Goat milk isnt vegan. It is a scam product. It makes your skin worse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so super excited to try this lotion. Anything that can moisturize my skin and control shine is a winner in my book. The lotion is super light weight and you can't feel it on your face at all. It has a slight pleasant scent to it when it comes out of its tube but I was never able to notice it once on my face which I am thankful for as that is something I'm sensitive to. It runs in really well throughout your face and it never felt caked on my face. It did help immensely with controlling my shine. We had some super hot waves roll through that meant sweat and shine and my face stayed put together all day. My only complaint and the one thing that would make it perfect was if it had spf or there was AM and PM set so one could have spf in it. My spf only products tends to be an issue where it is thick and ends up producing the shine I don't like. If I put a different moisturizer with spf on over this then it feels like this is just an extra step. My favorite use of this product was when I put some colored spf powder on my face so I can still get my spf and shine free. Overall, this is a great product and I do suggest trying it if you have the perfect spf but until it includes spf, it misses the mark for me.
