I own this in Dark Fig and Olive Green. The dark fig feels so incredibly cheap and the fabric feels stiff. I don’t know if the different dye they use makes it feel this way but I absolutely regret buying it in that dark brown color. I’ve had it for months now and was hoping with additional washes it would soften up but it has not. Terrible.

Very quickly wears down, the fringe shedding and was by far the most noticeable since it required constant "detangling." The texture, despite it not feeling style plasticcy at least, wasn't as cozy as it looks. It felt like it clung onto my skin which was extremely uncomfortable. I've bought more affordable options at Target that I still have today that perform better. There was just not a single thing that justified the price, I wholly regretted the buy.

poor quality and construction

i purchased a version of this quilt years ago and was very happy with it. when i repurchased a new color and size, the quality is drastically different. the backing of the quilt is a rough, stiff cotton and the seams are not tucked into the edges. since the seams are exposed, i can see that they have very sloppy stitching and thread tails hanging out. this is a 2 star rating in my opinion, as it’s not a one-off item error but rather a manufacturing issue and decrease in material quality.

Disappointing

Super disappointed in this comforter. Got one when we got married and loved it so much we bought another one. This one was scratchy almost when we received it, not nearly as comfortable as the first one. Obviously I washed it, where it completely covered our washer with fuzzies/strings from being washed. After drying it twice, it started to shrink and shrivel, which is not something I had an issue with with the first one. Super disappointed because it wasn’t cheap

Quality has gone way down!!!

This was my second Casaluna heavyweight linen comforter. My old one (that I loved) was just getting old and dingy so I was just replacing with a new one. I was actually shocked at the quality difference. The new one is in no way “heavyweight” it feels like a light blanket. I went back to my order to even make sure I bought the right one. I picked up my old one and compared it to the new one and my old one is significantly heavier. The price didn’t change but the quality sure did! I am so disappointed.

Quality changed and not for the better

I’ve had this comforter for years and recently purchased a new one, and the quality is not near what it used to be. I’m extremely disappointed because I loved it. It was comfortable, not too heavy, and the color was perfect. Now it’s extremely thin, seems to be smaller, and the color is off. Not to mention the top layer now completely separates from the bottom and you can see through it? Why change a good thing. After five good years with this bedding, I’m on the hunt for a new one. I cannot justify paying the same price for a decline in quality.
