This is not good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from Influenster and 4sisters complimentary in exchange for honest review. This is not a good flavor. Look at the ingredients, It has no actual chicken in it, just seasonings. I was excited to try this as I love the idea of a woman owned business. There is also a huge convenience factor. Microwave it and you’re done. Unfortunately this flavor was awful and the texture a little off, like squishy. I honestly had a few bites and threw the rest away. I cannot recommend this flavor, but I would give other flavors from this brand to try to see if it was just this particular flavor or if it’s just not a good product.

However, it is halfway 6 year old approved; She says there’s hardly any flavor, so I tried a bite and she was right. Once you swallow it, you get a little after taste of chicken flavor, but it’s not strong. This is definitely rice to use as a mixture in a dish; I do not recommend as a stand alone side dish unless you typically enjoy less seasoning/spice/blander foods.

Easy to cook

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For ease of use, this product is a 10/10. You simply open the package and microwave for 90 seconds, and you’ve got very mildly flavored rice. However as an actual Asian person who eats rice on the regular, I found it to be lacking in the texture I would prefer. It can be a bit clumpy even after taking time to squish the package prior to heating, as the instructions say. Taste is ok. Kids were not impressed but also ate it with other foods. I would spend my money on the instant white rice you can get at HMart instead.

It’s usually just my daughter and me at home for dinner, so this is absolutely perfect for us. The flavor is delicious, and the fact that my picky eater scarfed it down says it all! This was amazingly simple and she even ask for a second serving. The packaging was easy to open and the instructions were easy and clear. The rice has a perfect but I did not like the flavor, the sage is overpowering. It has a serving for at least 2 people if paired with protein and veggies. I would not but this flavor again but I am willing to try other flavors.

Terrible flavor
