Excellent counter stools for the price
I was surprised to see the negative reviews. Honestly, I didn’t look at the reviews before I purchased in the store. Maybe target fixed the quality issue. I needed something modern for my counter height bar. The metal is powder coated black, and the seats are plastic, but they aren’t high gloss. For the price they’re definitely five stars. They do the job and they’re pretty stable. Easy to put together. Many stools are so wide and these aren’t as wide. They fit my spot perfectly.

Frustrating to build
By far worse experience building something. The holes weren’t drilled right because I was constantly tugging to get them to line up. I haven’t made it to the second chair because I’m so frustrated. IKEA builds aren’t even this strenuous. I’ll add a picture when I finally get the back of the second chair to line up somehow
