Well, I gave it a

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, I gave it a shot but the bed fell short. I ordered two twin beds, rustic, white wash. I likes the color, however, one bed the finish was very rough to almost snag my skin. The second bed was a bit smoother but still rough. It seems as tough they took raw wood, skipped sanding it and painted directly. Whereas the second bed they sanded partially. I returned the beds as I needed matching beds.

After searching and searching found this bed!!

Bought this bed for my MIL moving to assisted living. I was looking for real wood and finally found it in this item. The finish is white washed which is very nice but I knew she would like a smoother finish so I gave it a quick one coat of semi gloss paint. It looks like I paid 3x the amount I did.

The beds are beautiful and the perfect color white wash, and they go perfectly with the style of our girls’ bedroom. The wood is solid and solid construction. The only thing I would say as a negative is the directions - if you have certain parts numbered in the manual, number them on the actual bags the screws came in. It took us a while to figure it out, but once we did, they look lovely.
