I don’t know what the one star reviews are going on about; because this product is FIRE! I really love the flavor, almost like a chili cheese flavor; and the spice is immediate. I will say it’s definitely NOT too hot. Having checked the ingredients and seeing that it contains “less than 2%” of Ghost Pepper, I think it would be appropriate to kick up the heat just a touch more; maybe between 5%-10%. With that said, without a doubt, we will ONLY buying the Xtra Hot Rotel from now on, and we will be Xtra disappointed if it is pulled from the shelves. Please keep pumping out this Xtra GREAT product! *Recipe Tip Add a can of the Xtra Hot Rotel to your Sloppy Joes or Tacos to really add some Xtra spice and flavor!

Crazy Stupid Hot - It's Awesome
Freakin. Ouch. Legit. Wow. I mean, really ouch. I grew up on rotel, and now I eat Hot rotel as a chip dip. So this xtra hot caught my eye. The heat is indescribably impressive coming from a canned product off the shelf. Nice job Rotel, but maybe consider a Hot Plus, something closer on the spectrum to Hot. A minor whine, I don't love the roasted tomato taste in this xtra hot, maybe that's the pepper influence, or maybe it's patterned from the fire roasted rotel, and just not my favorite. Thanks for creating, I hope this is a hit for ya'll. Been eating rotel for sixty years....

Insanity level of spicy heat.
Added this in my home made Americanized version of chicken enchiladas filling mix rolled in flour tortillas was a massive hit. Highly recommend for those who enjoy very spicy foods. Also pairs beautifully with slow cooked chili/stews.

Flavor is poor
As a pepper head I was delighted to see this hit the shelf, but after using a few cans, this flavor is off… not sure what it is but I do not like the flavor and will not use; can’t get past the strange flavor to really notice the heat but I’m sure it’s hotter: I will go back to the hot rotel

I thought like everything else made today with "ghost peppers" that this would be mid. Man was I wrong, this took my microwave defrosted goat meat tacos from "I guess I'll make this for dinner" to me searching online for the best place to order a case of it. Holy crap this is a must have. Great product

Great alternative to raw tomatoes

Extremely spicy..hard to even swallow

Delicious Spicy Kick!

Loaded With Flavor and Heat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried this product and LOVE it! This can is packed with flavor and definitely brings the heat! The tomatoes pair perfectly with the jalapeños, ghost peppers, onions, salt, paprika and garlic powder. I used these tomatoes in chili and it brought a lot of flavor and spice to the dish. Next time I’d like to try queso dip with these tomatoes!
