Q: Can this bed be assembled without the slats? I have boxspring and mattress on a metal frame and would like to just have headboard, rails and footboard around it. Thank you.

Dont buy unless you want your bed to come crashing down.

Don’t buy this bed. It’s so cute and I love the style but the materials are SOO cheap. I weight 130lbs and the pegs are coming off one by one every time I sit on it. I have had to purchase bed stabilizers to help cheap it from crashing to the ground. I wish I could return it but it’s huge and I don’t want to go through any more effort with this frame. I’m so disappointed and frustrated with this.
