  • Bust

    Measure across the fullest part of your bust, keeping tape measure level.

  • Torso

    Run tape measure from the top of your shoulder,between your legs & up again back to where you started.

  • Waist

    Bend slightly to one side. The crease is where your natural waistline is. Measure a comfortably loose, level line around that point.

  • Hip

    Stand with your feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of your hips & Seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit well. Now measure along the seam from the crotch to the leg opening.

    Average Black Dress

    I didnt' realize this dress was ribbed until after I received it. I'm not a fan of ribbed material overall; I can deal with narrow ribbing but this was wide and I try to avoid that. There is nothing really wrong with this dress if you need a plain black dress. I just thought it was kind of "blah." I will pretty much buy an affordable and stylish black dress whenever I find one, but I didn't think anything about this dress was above average. As for the length and the fit, I have recently purchased similar black dresses from Target by "A New Day" and "Wild Fable" that are more flattering.

This fits her well, but was a tad long on her. This would need to be hemmed to fit her properly. I would say this runs true to size as she is only 4 ft 10. The quality is fantastic. It has adjustable straps which is a huge advantage. This is a dress that could be dressed up or down. Highly recommend. I received an incentive to write this review.

    Medium mid shift dress a new day

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 5 feet 2 inches tall and about 135 lbs i usually wear a small to medium in dresses depending on length and material. I am glad I got this dress in a medium as I feel it's form fitting. I do like the material as it's a ribbed like material so it does give you some mercy to hide body areas but also form fitting as well. It's a great staple for any wardrobe and I plan on wearing this alot this summer. I received an incentive to write this review.

The material was really comfortable but there wasn’t any compression so I felt super flabby in it. I am 5’4 and 215lbs and a thick ol girl so I ordered an XL. I feel like if you want the dress to fit a little bit tighter you may be able to size down due to the stretch. I received an incentive to write this review.

I honestly had low expectations after realizing the material was slightly ribbed, and I usually find that to be too clingy, but the fit and drape is very flattering! It hangs well and is casual, although a black dress can be easily dressed up. I think it would work great as a casual summer sundress or even a bathing suit cover up!
