    Falling apart within a month?

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rug is thick and gorgeous. The color is NOT BROWN at all, very much purple which is fine with me. What isn’t super great is the amount of fibers that shed and most of the rug is looped and pulls out. It’s getting ratty looking very fast. I’ve spent much less on a rug that held up a lot better. I’m pretty disappointed with the quality but the shipping was fast and there was no odor like people commonly complain about with rugs.

    So the “dark brown” is purple

    This is more of a purple rug with brown undertones. It’s an earthy purple, especially in natural light. I have indirect natural light in my living room all day and it’s definitely purple. It also comes with a strong chemical smell, but seems to slowly be making progress with decreasing. Super sad about the color not being ideal, but still considering returning or settling for purple in my attempted dark brown rug purchase. The quality is fantastic, it came packaged well and seems durable.

    Unfinished Product, Excessive Fiber (A LOT)

    Upon initial opening, I was pretty happy, although the color is much more purple than brown. I also noticed the design was not as defined as the product photo. More on that later. Once I vaccumed the rug 3 times, 4 times, filling the canister each time, I got down on my hands an knees and saw that there was a TON of excess fiber from the manufacturing process still on and in the rug. I grabbed my lint/pet hair removal tool of choice and got to work, removing as much fiber (lint?) from it as possible. To be clear, I was not removing fibers that were ATTACHED to the rug. Everything that was coming off was a result of the process of cutting the design into the rug loops and was not attached to the piece. It held up well to this process. 3 hours later I had filled a five gallon bucket with fiber. The rug looked much cleaner and nicer, more like the product photo. I feel I was sent an incomplete product and would not have been able to keep it if I didn't have the ability to finish the job.

    Nice rug but color and smell are BAD

    The rug itself is very nice but the color is way more purple in person and it SMELLS AWFUL. It smells like it was left out in the rain and got mildewed. Disappointing :(

    Purple with raw edge

    (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I like this rug but i bought it specifically because the other reviews said it was more purple than brown. The raw edge on one side is off putting and looks messy for a rug of this price. Finished edges seem like a bare minimum?

    Nice Rug, But the Color is Not Accurate

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my rug last week and the material/design are even better in person. It is nice to sit on and I really love the large square pattern. However, it is not a dark brown rug - it is a purple rug. I've sat with in in my room at all times of the day, with all the different forms of light on, and it is not a rich dark chocolate brown at all. I'm disappointed with the color quite a bit, but pleased with the quality.
