Q: says it has a 1 cup reservoir ( 1 cup being 8 ounces) but brews up to 12 ounces...does that mean there is 4 ounces of water inside the unit itself?

A: Thank you for your question. The K-Mini Mate coffee maker is designed with a single brew water reservoir, so it will accommodate up to 12 oz of water to brew a single K-Cup pod. It does not store any water internally. We hope this helps!

I have owned Keurig machines for many years. My last one broke down after seven years. I'm now living where I have very little counter space so I opted for the mini. Looks cute in its green color and takes up very little space. I had forgotten how hot my coffee gets when it comes out. Best part is not having to frequently maintain the larger tank. Happy with this purchase.

It is super easy to use, I just add water, pop in a pod, and in a minute have a hot cup of delicious coffee. Plus, it does not make much noise like other machines that I have used in past. It takes up minimal room on my small desk area and is overall a great addition to my home office. It took a couple brews for it to start functioning properly. There was a strange technical hiccup the first time that resulted in a very weak drink. But all the times after that, the coffee’s been pretty good. Nothing to write home about but average based on my prior experience with other keurigs.

It's only 5 inches wide and fits perfectly in the space between my stive and appliance garage. It brews anywhere from 6 to 12 ounces depending on how much water you put in it. The tray can be remkved to accomodate a 7" travel mug. The mini has cord storage on the back to keep counters tidy. I will be using it with cocoa and other non-coffee K-cups mostly but also for guests who drink coffee.

I like the sleek matte black look. It is so simple to use. While Keurig doesn't make the strongest coffee (nothing beats the strength of Aeropress coffee), it is still great for a fast and easy cup of coffee. I like having it for guests, too.

I like that it is more compact and the matte look makes it look more expensive even though they feel like they are made of the same kind of plastic. This one heats up so quickly it’s actually insane! It makes coffee super quickly and the brew is always good. I like that it also has the new descale feature! Overall this keurig is great! This would be perfect for a dorm, small apartment, or someone who doesn’t like a lot of clutter on their countertops!
