A Subtle Highlight
This is the first highlighter I ever tried. I used the recommended brush and followed the instructions for application. I expected to see a big difference and was disappointed when I didn’t. That being said, I really started to warm up to the look about halfway through the day. The highlight is so subtle that you can really only see it at different angles and in specific light. And that effect works great! I have very pale skin and purchased Soft Pearl Era-Cool Pearl.

I thought this may be similar to my beloved Rare Beauty, but it is not even close. Texture wise, it’s a little bit rough/gritty. It is a bit more glittery than pearly if that makes sense. When I swatched it, I thought it still looked pretty but color was subtle. I feel like I have to use a lot of product to build up to get it to show up on my face. I’m a light/medium neutral complexion. And on me, it doesn’t last. I’d definitely not re-buy. Hope this helps!
