Betty Crocker Bridgerton Petite Strawberry Scone Baking Kit - 11.2oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not find these scones in my store so I was unable to review them. I have contacted Influenster for several times over the last year to let them know I couldn’t find them in the store for me hence why I haven’t reviewed them. That being said because of that I haven’t been able to be a part of any campaigns for the last year. So, here I am reviewing something I could never try.

I really wanted to like this strawberry scone baking kit, but it was a letdown. For almost seven dollars, I expected a lot more than four tiny scones. The cake itself was incredibly plain—so bland I could barely taste it at all. The cream filling had a very processed, artificial flavor, and the strawberry filling was skimpy at best. There wasn’t nearly enough to fill all four scones… maybe enough for two if you’re being generous. Honestly, the only real positive is that the kit included everything the little baking cups, which was convenient. But convenience doesn’t make up for the lack of flavor and value. For the price, I wouldn’t buy this again.

This was easy and tasted amazing but I dropped a star because it needed more jam. I ran out of it fast. My son even said it needed more jam. Regardless, I would make this again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so glad to get to try this Betty Crocker Bridgerton Petite Strawberry Scone Baking Kit free in order to review it. Strawberries are one of my favorite fruits and I love baked goods so this sounded right up my alley. Additionally, I don’t think I have actually had a scone before so I was very curious about this mix. These process to make is very easy and you only need to add butter and milk or water so not many other ingredients you need to buy. The directions were very simple and straightforward and the prep time was rather short too. It is great that the cookie cutter is included to keep them all uniform in size. I thought this was a very nice touch. After preparing I overall enjoyed them very much.They are perfect with a cup I tea! Nice flavor to them and not too sweet and a lot less sugar than I would have expected in a baked good like this. My complaint would be that there are only 6 servings in the prepared mix and it is rather expensive so I wish it was either cheaper or there was more mix in the box. They were very good though and I would recommend trying them out if you are looking to make a quick and easy dessert that tastes good too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow is definitely a great description for this product! The instructions are step by step, easy to follow, and very very simple. I love the scone with cookie crunch and the sweet tea cake taste. Strawberries set it off with it's tangy jam pack, included in the box and the tiny strawberries inside the mix. I think that this is definitely a treat that gives you back your money's worth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s really easy to make, I had a hard time with the shaper included in box keeping shape (I think I made the dough too liquidy) because at first it seemed it was too dry so I then mixed the strawberry’s pouch and real fresh strawberries in it. I basically made strawberry scone biscuits. They were still really super yummy and I had some cream cheese icing in the cabinet I paired with them not pictured, we heated up the icing and dipped our scones in it. Overall it was fairly easy to make (follow directions- don’t do what I did unless you want strawberry scone like biscuits) I’m still fairly new to baking and using my kitchenaide mixer. But my kiddos loved these and asked for me to make them again, my kids 2 & 5 years old said they tasted similar to cheesecake muffins you buy in a bag but better! Sorry for the long review & the delay on reviewing- we live very busy lives! Thank you again to influenster for allowing us to review & try this product!

It was extremely easy to make made me feel so fancy and we all actually really liked it. I did not expect for my kids to like them but they said it was yummy. A different type of dessert that your typical cupcake that was actually easier to make them cupcakes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never watched a single episode of Bridgerton, but that doesn’t change the fact that these adorably petite scones are royally tasty. The box includes everything you need (down to the cookie cutter to ensure your scones are perfectly rounded) - all you have to do is add butter and milk! The directions are easy to follow. I was a bit surprised by how small they were, but it makes it easy to snack on them as you are able. I had to taste-test a couple, of course, but I look forward to enjoying a few more for breakfast in the morning!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a decent dessert. The strawberry flavor was pretty good but the hardness of the scone was not what I expected. Also, being that I'm not a baker they came out a little burnt. But I think it's a good product for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THESE SCONES WERE SOOOO GOOD!!!! i love the strawberry jam that the came with, the flavor was amazing!!! the bridgerton vibe is so cute & the packaging was adorable! the scones were warm and fluffy, just the way i like. i definitely will be making these again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my opinion I'm not really a big fan of these! They were really easy to make and pretty fun but I'm not sure if I made them right? They don't have a number for how many you could make on the packaging so I messed it up a little haha ! But the strawberry jam filling was not my favorite.. it tasted a little fake and it was too sweet for me. Maybe it would have been better with some fresh strawberries? Overall, I would rate these a 5/10 in terms of taste !
