Smaller than expected
My toddler loves this seat - wish it would recline more with the infant seat attached. Also not sure how he will continue to fit in it much longer? he is 20 months but is close to maxing out the buckle with a thick coat on.

Double the fun
I purchased the Mockingbird 2nd seat kit as a baby shower gift requested by the mothert-to-be. She is so pleased with her Mockingbird stroller that she received for her firstborn, that she wanted to continue using it after her second baby. She was thrilled to know that I purchased it, as she is so happy with the quality, look and functionality of the stroller.

Disappointing
This stroller is heavy to begin with. Add the 2nd seat kit and it is absolutely unmanageable. You need hulk strength to get this thing in and out of the car. The fact that it doesn’t also come with adapters after you’ve paid for the stroller and then the second seat kit is ridiculous. It doesn’t steer easily once the second seat is added and the handle is way too close to the bucket if you’re using that on top. You barely have room for your fingers to clear it. The only thing I like about this stroller is it’s one of the few double strollers that has a huge storage basket underneath. As a single this stroller is really nice. As a double I don’t like it at all.

Best investment
I bought the second seat for when my niece visited and it’s the best investment/decision made. So easy to put together and might be a bit bulky to collapse but so worth it and not dealing with two strollers.

2nd seat
We just took the two seater to Disney and it’s not something I want to do again. It was very frustrating to have to take the seat apart every single flight and ride we took to and from the park. Also the both canopies didn’t hold up.

Good! I wish there was an option to buy the attachments without the second seat

So grateful for this stroller!!
I already loved this stroller so much but this 2nd seat kit, and how easy it is, has made our transition to two kiddos a little bit easier! Our older one loves that he can face the baby and “keep an eye on him” 🥰. Excellent purchase, we are so happy!!

The Lifesaver
I love my Mockingbird stroller and now that my family is growing, I love that our stroller grows with us. The lightweight frame makes it so easy to maneuver around parks, grocery store isles, or the crowded farmers market. I will always recommend this stroller.

It’s great!
Easy to put together which is so nice when you’ve just had a baby and don’t want to do hard things. The stroller still pushes very smoothly and everyone is comfortable!

Good overall
With the second edition added to our family, the 2nd Seat Kit was a must. It has been rather helpful to have 2 seats available for my kiddos. However, I do have some inconveniences with the overall functionality of the stroller with 2 seats. 1. When it is in 2 chair mode, it is almost impossible to fold it up with both seats and store it in a vehicle. I have been removing the seats each time we put it in my SUV that has plenty of space. 2. There is not as much range in the individual seats in how far back or forward they can lean in this position. I’ve found the best configuration for this is the top seat facing the stroller pusher and the bottom seat facing out/forward, but is still challenging at times. 4. Maneuverability of the stroller itself decreases significantly with both seats, but that’s to be expected. 5. When the 2 seats are on the stroller, access to the large undercarriage carrier is almost impossible at times as well. The front seat completely blocks any access and the metal support bar towards the back makes it difficult to out a back pack or anything larger in there. Lastly, 6. While the 2 seat kit is compatible with the car seat adapter, it is NOT convenient or even possible at times to have it in this configuration. With my first kid, I used the stroller mainly with the car seat adapter so I could go from car to stroller quickly and easily and loved its capability that way. However, with a lower seat, it makes the car seat adapter only really work if the lower seat is in a completely upright position, which can be very uncomfortable for my toddler. This has forced me to use both of the Mockingbird seats, causing much inconvenience as I have to take my newborn out of her car seat each time I want to utilize the 2-kid stroller. Like I said, overall it’s a great stroller and I have loved it, there are just some features with the 2 seats that decreases it efficiency and functionality.

Love this stroller! Perfect for walks as the weather is getting better. Fits both babies perfect. Just the right length and width to make it through stores easily

2nd Seat Kit 2.0
I was very disappointed with this product. The base stroller I had previously purchased wasn’t made to accommodate this 2nd seat. Doesn’t fit! Doesn’t appear I can return this seat or purchase a base stroller to make this work.

Great
Just what we needed now that we have kid #2. It was pretty easy to set up for using the car seat for baby (we already had the adapter) and the seat for the big kid. It definitely makes the stroller heavier to push and more challenging to maneuver, which is hard in early postpartum days, but we’re getting used to it. Love having both kids in one stroller that is not double wide.

Not practical
We LOVE the mockingbird stroller with one seat, the second we added a 2nd seat it became nearly unusable. You cannot turn or maneuver it easily. My 3 year old is about 37 pounds, if he’s in the front I can’t push it. But I can’t put my newborn in the front. Maybe it would work better when my newborn is older and I can put him in the front, and my older child in the back, but honestly we had to purchase another stroller (still tandem) that worked 100x better. I don’t know what the critical flaw is with the 2nd seat but it’s truly unfortunate.

Mockingbird second seat Review
Mockingbird second seat is everything a mother needs for their kids. It makes things easier for me whenever my two kids fell asleep while shopping. I am enjoying my mockingbird complete stroller. Thanks.
