Lid can't stay in place
As others have mentioned, the lid can't stay in place. It frequently falls off and gets dirty when trying to throw garbage in the bin. Also, you can't fill the bin because the 2 movable parts of the lid go in the bin. Poor design. Poor idea.

LOVE THIS TRASH CAN
I knew once I saw this trash can. It was perfect for my dorm room. This lid was perfect becasue I don't have to open it eveytime to throw away trash, but it still keeps in the scent of the trash. Its also a good size for trash bags its easy to put them on.

Worst Design Imaginable
I genuinely hope the person that engineered this serves jail time. This was the only lid in stock when I was in store so I spent the $20 on it. It is completely nonsensical. You cannot fill it without the lids dirtying. It's impossible to put anything in without either folding both panels or touching the trash to the lid itself (dirtying it yet again). I cannot see a single application where this design is a benefit more than a hinderance. Such a basic household item, but completely nonsensical in design.

Does the job like it should.
Perfect size for my trash output. The lid is great for just dropping the garbage in, no need for a foot pedal that ends up breaking, or a motion sensor like those high end trash cans. Decent size and shape but the lid is badly designed.
I figured the lid design would work, so i gave it a shot but I was wrong. A month later, it’s quite annoying. Not sure how someone thought this was a good idea. Not worth the price. Get a simpler and slightly costlier bin.

Good for Kitchen
Really like this in the kitchen, its easy to access and remove the bags. Sealed enough but easy to open. It is also easy to clean, my only complaint is the style of lid is hard to use for dumping anything (like the vacuum contents), the lid must be removed to avoid making a mess.

Good Size
Purchased as it was a larger bin and easy to remove lid. It holds the smell of the garabge in the plastic so I'm forced to let it air out every so often. Decent bin for the price. Doesn't crack when my cat tips it over which is always a plus.
