Junk plastic
I bought thos when Jo Ann's was closing and just moved and set up my seeing space. Took it out of the box and it doesn't work. Also the plastic screws don't even tighten enough for the lamp to sit upright. What a waste of money, even if it was discounted slightly.

Light didn't last long
I bought this on clearance a couple months ago, started using it last month for my Christmas projects and the bulb died today. I am so disappointed in this product. Now I am having trouble finding a replacement bulb! Horrible experience for me.

I received this as a gift. And I love it for crafts however while working ( on my computers for my job )I need a little light and was wondering if this is dimmable. I think I purchased the wrong one. I needed something with more options

I have macular degeneration and have trouble seeing. This magnifier works for me. I can't believe I had never heard of OttLite before. Now I couldn't imagine my eyes without it.

GREAT LAMP!
This lamp is bright and the magnifying glass is perfect (no distortion)! I love that it's portable and I can use it sitting at the kitchen table or in the living room when doing needlework. I will take it when I travel so I can continue to stitch while staying with family.
