Amazing storage option
This is exactly what I was looking for! Our home office desperately need to be organized. My husband gets a lot of items for work and they end up all over the floor and get cluttered quickly. This was easy to assemble. I did it by myself in about an hour. I’m sure it would go quicker with an extra pair of hands too. I love how nice it looks paired with some baskets. It takes up minimal floor space but provides lots of storage. It is affordable and the quality has held up. Definitely would recommend.

Not absolutely terrible but not great.
Probably wouldn’t buy it again, it’s definitely not worth $140. Without being anchored to the wall, I would not allow my children around it unattended even though they’re old enough to not pull/climb on it as it’s very wobbly. Arrived with some damage but not enough for me to pack it back up and drive 40 minutes to return it.

Bought in white to use as temporary closet shelving in a new home. Easy one-person assembly. Sturdy when in place, but when trying to move, I'd suggest having two people to pick up at ends. I tried sliding it on my own and it felt wobbly until in place. The stickers on each piece for the instructions were hard to peel off and one didn't come off at all. Not an issue for me since it's in a closet and the shelves are covered by clothes. Can store a lot! I didn't get it on sale, but if you can, I'd say good for the sale prices I've seen.

Cheap "wood" that is not durable, but great for the purpose
This is perfect for my kids’ play room. However, it is extremely damaged. Every single piece had a crushed/ smashed corner and the fake would was crumbling. Some of the pieces had damage spots that were 2 inches long/ wide. The item was SO heavy that we decided to keep it and use it damaged, rather than deal with a difficult return. If it weren’t damaged, it would be a great item for the price!

I ordered this in white, but received black and multiple pieces are damaged and chipped. Now I have to go through the trouble of returning this heavy box back to the store. Now it says the white is out of stock, so I guess they just send you whatever they feel like so they don’t have to refund. Way too much of a headache.

Targets shipping is terrible and Brightroom build quality is declining
First - Target uses Fed Ex for shipping and does not offer store pickup on these items. Fed Ex has damaged the item to some degree everytime. I have bought these before and this was the first time I didn;t return it immediately for damage. Not because it wasn't damaged but because the hassle is to much. Avoid target shipping at all costs. I will no longer purchase shipped items like this from target. Second - The build quality of the item has decreased over the years. I bought my first shelf like this almost 4 years ago and they have been worse with every purchase after. Which is dissapointing as they were an affordable, stable enough, solution in the past. For example, the drill holes were not drilled and lined up correctly, the finish was rough and scratchy to the touch where it had been semigloss and smooth in the past. The item feels less sturdy than previous ones I have purchased. All said I will need to find a new solution as Target is no longer able to offer quality services or goods.

'Natural' Color is Off
This arrived without any damage and I found it fairly easy to assemble and it seems decently sturdy for the price. My main complaint is that I ordered the color ‘Natural’ and it is kind of a weird gray color rather than the color advertised in the photo. It looks annoyingly out of place with the other furniture I have that is the same color as the picture.

Minus bolts in the corners. This entire unit is held together by small dowels. It is ridiculous to assemble and many of the dowel holes busted out in the process. I would not feel safe putting any amount of weight on these shelves. Returning.

DO NOT BUY!
Cheap! This is fake wood. Once together it doesn’t come back apart. Not sturdy at all. Should be $40. I purchased 2 for my kids playroom. Don’t buy unless you like throwing money out the window… seriously very disappointed. I also went and ordered 32 bins to fit in the cubes…. Spent so much money for nothing.

Bright room storage cubes are by far the best quality cube storage I have found. I’ve put together quite a few of this brand. The holes always line up perfectly. The dowels always fit. The boards are never damaged. I cannot recommend these storage cubes enough. I love them.
