Great lightweight set
I got this set at half off and it was a very good deal. The two larger bowls with the lids are wonderful. I use them to store cooked ground beef/taco meat weekely. They are also great for storing spring mix/salad mix. This set is very lightweight. It's great in the microwave and cleans up very easily. The plates are a nice large size as well. The smaller bowls perfect for soup, ice cream, cereal etc. I ended up giving the cups away. They would be great for kids, but just too small and not worth it to keep for us. For the price point I paid I am extremely happy but I am not sure I would pay full price for the set. There are some downsides. The plates are not super durable when it comes to cutting meats. There are one or two starting to develop that white bubbly looking stuff you see on plastic containers. I am not sure if this is from the extreme temperatures in my dishwasher or from the microwave. Either way, it is probably best not to heat them too long in the microwave and to handwash if possible even though they say dishwasher/microwave safe.
