A: Hi LAA! The 20 Gal. Latching Storage Tote Our is made of Polypropylene plastic, and is designed for general household storage. Most household storage purposes do not require suggested weight limitations. Our products have not been specifically tested for various weight potential, and we suggest consumers use good judgment and not overload them or stack more than three high. This could cause distortion or eventual damage.

A: Hi Di! The 20 Gal. Latching Storage Tote is made out of Polypropylene plastic, and was designed for general household use. Sterilite only uses high quality FDA food safe grade plastics that are non-toxic. These plastics do not contain PVC's, Latex, Teflon, Phthalates chemicals, fungicides, Bishphenol A (BPA), or antibacterial chemicals. Nor do we use them in the manufacturing process of our items.

I have a senior boy (17 yo and counting!) that had box issues. My vet suggested I buy a large tote and create a low-entry box for him. So I did! Much cheaper than buying one ( at min $25 to $100 for a senior-specific, low entry box) and had the high sides I need. It's as large as a reuglar covered litter box though just a couple inches shy with the lid on (can't use it cuz my boy is BIG). On its own, very strudy and bought a few more just of regular storage. Love the the way it latch closes, super sturdy as well. Color wise...eh, beggers can't be choosers lol.
