Mini Weeping Leaf Stem - Room Essentials™

I really wanted to like this stem, but at the end of the day, the one advertized was not what was sent to me. What I got instead was faux foliage all the same exact color and tone not like the photo showing darker leaves toward the stem and lighter leaves toward the tips. Plus, using fancy lighting, the leaves were made to reflect light for certain, but not all leaves, giving the impression that the leaves had further variation with whiteness which is natural to certain leaves. In reality the leaves are all just one color and do not look natural as depicted in the photos with the special lighting used. Possibly the lighter exterior leaves are a trick of the light, too, or perhaps the stem used for the stock photo actually used lighter leaves at the tips. In any case, this is a cheap and unnatural looking stem. Target keeps complaining about declining sales, and bait and switch/deceptive advertizing schemes like what's used for this faux stem is much of the reason why. People don't like being scammed. Now I'm missing the item I paid for, and instead what I have is junk and the box it came in, which takes up space in my recycling bin. This anti everything decent and good culture has to stop!!!

Usually I don't like artificial plants but I was pleasantly surprised with the mini weeping leaf stem when it was delivered to me. It looks great as a single stem in a tall slender vase and I'm going to consider purchasing more if I find a place
