A: Hi Uma! The Medium Front Open Storage Bins are made of polypropylene plastic, and were designed for general household use. Sterilite only uses high quality FDA food safe grade plastics that are non-toxic. These plastics do not contain PVC's, Latex, Teflon, Phthalates chemicals, fungicides, Bishphenol A (BPA), or antibacterial chemicals. Nor do we use them in the manufacturing process of our items.

Excellent clear storage solution!
I use these to store my daughter’s Barbie and American girl doll clothes/accessories in her cubby storage. These work perfectly for that use and she can easily see what’s inside when she needs to put things away. I used to use the cloth bins and while they are aesthetically pleasing to the eye, they are not practical for young kids that need to see where their belongings need to be put away. These are functional, sturdy, and the price for the quality is amazing. 100% recommend.

Fits with Kallax divider
I used these bins in the IKEA Kallax unit, which is essentially the same as the Brightroom Cube organizer. I have the divider shelves in some of my cubes and these bins fit in those shelves better than any others! These are also more affordable than the Y-weave I baskets I currently use. Now I just need Target to make a black version so they match my current aesthetic!
