Q: how much wieght can it hold

A: There is no way this will hold 22lbs. I have spices on it above my stove and its already warping after 1 day. It's cheap plastic

Is it the most elegant shelf out there? Absolutely not, but for $12 (on sale for $8.40), I don’t think I have any complaints. Easy to hang, and looks like real wood (I knew it wasn’t real wood when purchasing). If you’re looking for something super heavy duty, this isn’t it. But for the price, I think it’s a win.

I never leave reviews, but this needs to be said as a warning… Don't buy this! The drywall screws are too small for the screws provided, and it will mess up your wall. Not to mention, the shelf itself is not real wood and can barely support anything.

I bought these to display some of my collectibles. Says it can handle more weight but I wouldn't risk it. I had to buy different screws and anchors because the ones provided were not the right size. I also had to reinforce because it still didn't feel as tight as it could be. It is plastic material so that is why.

I can't speak for the how well the shelf holds up to use. I am not extremely strong, if anything I usually struggle to make sure screws are tight. These disintegrated, with a screw driver, not even a drill. The anchors got stuck halfway in, then bowed, flexed, and became a whole new shape. This was not into a stud. I had to force the now oval anchors out of the wall leaving a big hole. And because they are no longer round, I cant them back through the shelf mounting hole. After ruining the wall and failing to put up a simple shelf, I checked the reviews and my experience is pretty much the norm.

After reading another review, I went to the store to see these in person. OMG, so incredibly poorly made. They are plastic, very shallow. I don't see how this was any type of a good idea. Target, do better.

My wife already had an account otherwise I would have made one simply to rant on how awful this product is. It took me a minute but I got past the cheap plastic look and feel because it was 10 bucks and I just needed these to display some comics. Not heavy duty work. I bought two and Ive just finished "installing" these and they have ruined my wall. First off, The shelf requires 3 screws in anchors, a bit much for the quality of the shelf. The screws they package with the shelf are made out gummy bears. For the first shelf I installed, one of the screw heads sheared completely off. I was using a screwdriver. On the other shelf 2 out of the three screws gave me an issue. This time I used the drill and it completely sheared the screw heads in seconds. The shelf is essentially floating on that wall. If I returned these, Target would still owe me for the damage to my walls. I wish I could go back in time and sabotage whatever product meeting invented these shelves. Save $10 and just punch holes in your wall yourself.

These are cute, but unfortunately not sturdy. After installing the shelf, there was too much give and the shelf slouched downwards- making me wary of even keeping light items on it.
