A: The top of the 43.78" Shelf Bookshelf Salt Oak has a weight limit of 35 lbs and the bottom shelf can support up to 50 lbs. Each adjustable shelf has a weight limit of 25 lbs.

Q: Are the sides of this bookcase completely flat? I'm trying to find out if I'd be able to push two of them together (without it being completely obvious) to create a tv stand. Thanks!

A: The top of the 3 Shelf Bookcase has a slight overhang. Two or more of the 3-Shelf bookcases would not sit flat beside each other. There would be a small gap.

used as a bookcase. Easy assembly. Some of the hidden cams had to be turned counter clockwise--then clockwise to make the seams tight.

This bookcase is more cheaply made than I expected. Screws didn't fit holes they were intended for. I've put together many very similar products w/o problems; this one is such a poor quality that the veneer splintered off in at least 5 spots that I have noticed so far. I was super careful, placing the product on carpet as I put it together.

It doesn't look that bad but the second you move it it is quite Janky. I don't totally mind and I'm happy to use it, but will probably not be able to transport it to any other location in the future. Would not re-purchase or recommend to others.I would rather have gotten no shelf at all to be honest.

I normally have trouble putting things together but the instructions and pictures made assembly very easy. The only thing I needed help with was putting the back on square before nailing it on. I did need an extra pair of hands for that. It is a very nice looking bookcase.

Use is for books, binders, etc. Good looking product, matches my other office furniture well and at a fair price. I would recommend a fairly stronger back as books pushed up against it will eventually weaken the back and it could detach from the sides.
