Q: The lights keep turning off. I press the power and they turn back on. Then they turn off on their own. How can I fix this?

A: Thank you for your interest in this product. The button on the back of the solar panel turns on the timer and the product will illuminate at dusk. The unit will turn off automatically after 6 hours when on timer mode, but you can press the button again to turn the timer off. Q: Can the solar panel power additional strands of lights? We have these lights minus the solar panel. Can we plug them into the strand that runs to the solar panel?

A: Thank you for your interest in this product. For the best performance, the solar panel should receive 8 to 10 hours of full sunlight. If the panel only receives a few hours of sunlight, or is shaded (such as by the house or a tree), then illumination time at night will be shortened. Try to position these facing south or southwest away from street lights, post lights etc. There are further suggestions on the safety instructions. You will have to figure out how to mount the ground stake to position the solar panel in a efficient place. A: Thank you for your interest in this product. There is a timer on the back of the solar panel that will affect when the lights turn on or off. If the battery is charged, you can check that the solar panel is turned on by placing it glass side first, flat on the ground or floor or completely covering the solar panel with a piece of cardboard. You'll need to make sure the batteries are charged. Further instructions are listed on the product's safety instruction sheet. With a full day of sunlight to charge the solar panel the lights only shine for 1 hour and 1/2. When they are lit they look nice. I wish they stayed on longer as the description states. Will return.

They never worked, not once! Save the box if you purchase so you can return! I threw the box after opening, wish I didn't!

If you read the instructions it says you need to charge for 8-10 hours in full sun prior to the first use. I actually did two days of charging before the initial use and turned them off before it got dark for the one night in between. Probably overkill, but now they just charge all day and run bright and long into the night and I don't have to think about anything. They also use rechargeable AA batteries inside the solar panel and there are directions for replacing these if needed.

these are very hit or miss and they only work when they want to. the solar panel itself works but whatever powers the bulbs on and off is really finicky. they won't stay on. sometimes they automatically come on, sometimes they won't. sometimes the switch works and sometimes you have to press it 25x before it will. glad i got it for half price but not worth it either way.

Tested each string before I spent HOURS putting them up.... they don't light up. Very disappointed for the price of 20$/string. Will be returning.

Good in theory, but so far only 3 of 5 sets I have bought actually work. Two sets only light up about 25% of the lights. Have had to make multiple trips to replace.

These little lights do a pretty decent job of adding a little whimsey to our outdoor Christmas decorations. The solar collector is sturdy, but unobtrusive, and it does a great job--even with overcast skies and little direct sunlight. The only caveat I will note is that the strand is pretty short. Yes, the length is listed on the box, but it's shorter than you'd think. Consider getting a second strand if you're concerned about length.

The lights did not turn on after two weeks outside. Night time temperature was above 55. There were three rainy days, but I thought outdoor lights should withstanding rain.

Though on rainy days they don’t get enough sunlight to power on (expected), these are a great idea. No need for an outlet. Will work anywhere the sun shines. I got the non flickering ones and they work great.

Do NOT buy these. Immediately did not work after buying them. I spent a ton of time putting them up just for them to not work. Charged 2 full days in the sun and only one bulb works (and it's in the middle). I replaced the first bulb in the string, and they still do not work. Complete waste of money and time. I spent forever attaching clips and clipping them up. Now I will spend forever taking them down.

Easy to use outdoor solar powered string lights. I strung these along my garden fence and they give off a cozy light. I was hoping they’d be a bit brighter for walking the dog at night but they don’t give off a lot of light. They are nice to look at hanging along my garden though. We’ve had a lot of gray rainy days in TN this fall and they do still seem to get enough solar power to glow for several hours after dark.

This solar LED faceted outdoor string of lights makes things simple to decorate your house or trees. No electricity. I received this product from Hey, Bullseye sampling program in exchange for my honest review. It has an on/off button on the solar panel you stick in the ground. You can charge on cloudy days! This is made to light up with broken or missing bulbs. I had a smaller string, 16' 3". I'm excited to buy more. @Target #Heybullseye

The lights are good but aren’t bright. We have them outside and we wish they were brighter but we like that they are solar. If you turn on your phone flash light and put it in the lowest setting, that’s how bright the lights are just to give you an idea. I forgot to press the “On” button once we put them up so we had to go back up to turn them on.

I absolutely love these lights! I had a need for a string of holiday lights at the far end of our yard and running an extension cord would have been a pain. These are a life saver! Even with the smallest amount of sunlight during the day they turned on at dusk and stayed lit most of the night. On a sunny day they remain lit until morning. They are almost as bright as corded string lights!
