NOT Airtight
I initially liked these canisters because of their affordability and their clean look. I purchased three sets, and after hand washing per item instructions, I filled all of them with my bulk pantry items. Unfortunately after a few weeks of use, the lids stopped being airtight and will not stay on. This has led to stale food and bugs in my canisters. I tried to do a return due to misinformation about them being airtight, and Target will not allow it. Please Target, stop labeling these as airtight because they definitely are not.

Very disappointed. I bought several of these, was extremely happy how nicely they stack and love that they're square. But they're not airtight. Food I put in them 3 months ago have been infested with bugs or dried out. I'm throwing everything away. That's expensive. I'll be checking purchase date to see if I can still return, but that does nothing for all the food I've now had to throw away.

I’ve purchased the Bright-room 1 pc canisters but decided to save a bit and purchase this set. The lid seals are not at all the same. They have only one lip on the seal. Even though they do seal to a degree, they slide off very easily. It would be too loose for food items in my opinion. They’ll be fine for pencils or art supplies but not food items you’re wanting to keep fresh.

I've had these canisters for a while and the seals are still working like new and keeping things fresh. These are lightweight and easy to open and close. I love that the plastic is clear like glass, not foggy as some plastics are. The lids make it easy to stack these without worrying they might fall off.
