This ceiling fan looks beautiful and is quiet even with the 3-foot down rod. Problem is that the light is much too bright inside the living room. I have 18-ft tall ceilings and it feels like stadium lights have been turned on. I should have purchased a model with dimmable controls. Apparently the light is not replaceable.

Beautiful! This fixture pleasantly cools and illuminates quite well. It has exceeded expectations. The fan has only three blades, but it cools well in this medium sized room. This fan and light fixture does the job and it also adds visual appeal to the space.
