This is a nice little locking wastebasket that is great if you have little kids. I purchased it to use for our recycling. The color is more of a "greige," I would say more taupe than gray, but I think you could use it with either tone. It holds quite a bit, and I use the clear 8-gallon liners to keep it clean. Has a pedal and is hands-free unless you use the lock. Pleasantly surprised by this product.
