Q: Has anyone experienced battery leakage from this brand? Is there a damage warranty for leakage?
A: Yes- in my battery operated touch lamps - we use when power out. Live on Gulf Coast- lots of hurricanes & storms. The batteries (3) were only in lamp 3 weeks & leaked bad enough to ruin lamp. Worst part I found out during the next 4 day blackout & I’m disabled & don’t drive so I was so scared- NO LIGHT @ ALL. Had to throw lamp away & buy new 1- wouldn’t clean up plus made holes in several wash cloths trying to clean battery compartment. No probs before this one though.

Q: what is the expected shelf life of aa & aaa up&up brand batteries? is it 10yr, 5yr undetermined, what? i don't wanna stock up if half will become a leaky mess before i get around to using them.
