A: Dear C, please note that unlike most other types of pain, neuropathic pain does not usually get better with common painkillers, such as paracetamol and ibuprofen, and other medicines are often used.

One buys an item with the word ADVIL in big letters and makes the assumption it contains... ADVIL. I know. How foolish of me. I did not read the ingredients! It contains - NO ADVIL or any ibuprofen at all. It just contains the same ingredients as half a dozen other pain relief/distraction products - wintergreen, capsaicin, menthol, camphor. Your skin tingles and you feel hot - and when that goes away maaaaybe some tightness goes away, but any real pain is still there. What a rip off. In the UK, this would never be allowed. I bought some ointment there and it contained... ibuprofen. Worked pretty well.

I tried this product as directed for two days and I felt the pain reduced and the mobility was better. The packaging is convenient and the applicator makes much easier to apply onto the skin. The scent is not strong and mentholated, I personally like this scent. I highly recommend this product!

The stuff burned and burned. It doesn't stop like other products. I had to look up online how to stop it. Yogurt or milk works to neutralize because soap and water did nothing to stop the burn. If you exercise if you put pressure in the area it reactivates and starts burning. Even the smell burns your mouth. I threw it out. It's painful.
