I recently purchased every color except green. U fortunately, it loses the point when sharpened. I've tried y Chanel, Borghese, Lancome, Estee Lauder, Mac and Urban Decay with no success. I've used high end cosmetics for over 60 years and this eyeliner beats them all however, I'm apprehensive about trying any other Almay Products. What would it have cost them to manufacture a sharpener? Did anyone at the roundtable even suggest this or did they just send the product off to manufacture? Do they care about their customers who made them the wealth they enjoy?

I didn’t think I could advance this eyeliner, which is true until you place it in an average sized pencil sharpener. I was able to sharpen it perfectly. At first glance. It does not appear that you can sharpen it, but just place in the sharpener and twist a few times… a perfect result! I’m glad I finally tried this solution as it has been a few months using the same eyeliner with no advancement. Hope this helps.

Product is good, goes on well, lasts all day. However, there is no way to advance the product to the tip from inside the case. Therefore, in order to get more of it out at the tip so it is usable (and after dissection of the case I found a good 3 or more inches of product) you must cut it open using heavy shears and insert the end of a q tip minus the cotton to push it out toward the tip, gradually as you need it. I would suggest a re-engineering of the case.

Hi, I had the same complaints as everyone else and was very annoyed that I couldn’t wind it up. Then I realized you are supposed to use your eyeliner pencil sharpener. It sharpened fine, problem solved. Don’t throw it was away.

This can be sharpened. I bought a makeup sharpener at the dollar store. I put the eyeliner in the freezer for a couple of minutes. Then used the eyeliner sharpener on it and it sharpened very easily. Like how the pencil goes on smooth and lasts throughout the day. Did not give it 5 stars yet because I haven’t completely used it yet, but so far I am satisfied.

Amazing. Please never stop making. This is only eyeliner I will ever use again. No skipping. No transfer. All day hold. And NO SKIPPING. It’s perfect. Also… no shade to the folks having troubles but… it’s not a twist up… It needs to be sharpened. Just buy a $2 sharpener and you’re golden. I don’t understand what all the confusion is about…

I bought this eyeliner thinking it would be good for sensitive eyes. It's fine but there's almost no product in it. It doesn't roll up; it can't be sharpened. I keep thinking it's me. I bought a second one and got two uses out of it. That's ridiculous. I've searched the website to see if there are instructions as to how to use this but nada. What a rip!

I bought this gel eyeliner, I enjoyed the smooth application and was amazed by the color 032 navy. I thought I was naive because I could not get the tip to twist to extend the product. I used pliers to try to pull it out without success. The package did not indicate, WHAT you SEE is WHAT you GET!! This was so disappointing. The others are correct, 2 weeks of eye liner if you are an expert in conservation application. I am on a fixed income, I do not have money to lose on mis-represented full size pencil with a drop of liner!

I thought that I had to give up eyeliner. Most of them cause my eyes to turn red and itch. Bought 2 of these Almay Intense for sensitive eyes and love them. They glide on with rich color, I didn’t overdo the application. Stayed on beautifully for hours and easy to sharpen with an eye pencil sharpener that I already had.

I bought the Pure Plum about a month ago and have used a handful of times. I noticed a few times that my eyes looked bloodshot following use. This morning I woke up with extremely inflamed eyes after wearing yesterday and they were also goopy. I’m throwing it away as I seem to react more each time I wear it. Hardly hypoallergenic as I am not An allergy prone individual. Prescription eye drops to the rescue.

I have to agree with others who have posted here. I bought this recently hoping for a long time eyeliner and realized pretty quickly that the tip would not extend, so you’re paying a premium for a tiny bit that may last for a couple of weeks before running out. Not buying again.
