Amazfit Bip 5 Smartwatch

If I could give it 0 stars I would.. The app it uses ended up frying both mine and my husbands phones. We had to buy new ones. I have tried contacting the manufacturer with NO help. They just tell me to contact the company I purchased it from because it was a 3rd party sale. I have reached Target Corporate many times with them just telling me to contact the manufacturer and than the manufacturer telling me to contact Target. DO NOT waste you money or time with any smart watch that uses the app ZEPP. It started with connecting issues than my whole cell phone started to slowly app by app crash.

Stopped working after return window closed…

My watch only lasted 4 months got wet a little and didn’t work anymore

Deserves zero stars. Do not purchase, poor quality. Regret not returning to Target with 30 day return window. Screen blacked out after two months of light use. Would not reboot or reconnect. Battery did not last 10 days. Lasted about 3-4 days and would suddenly drop to low levels despite being fully charged. Used it to track walking steps and check time. When it did work it seemed good ...sensed increased activity and kept track. Now it's just junk. Very disappointing.

Had a Amazfit GTS 4 Mini and it worked great until the watch band broke. Purchased this Amazfit Bip 5 in May 2025, worked fine, battery did NOT last as long as the GTS 4 (could go two weeks before charging). It was on its charging “station” that the device came with and when I went to remove it I noticed it was extremely hot … this thing was fried. Cannot get it to come back up. I’ve only had it 2 1/2 months - returning it now!

Touch Screen stopped working well after a month. After 2 months it shuts off and restarts on its own. I stopped wearing it. Bad purchase

It’s just no different then any other smart watch maybe it’s much easier to work with! Love it it’s perfect and keeps me motivated to keep going on my exercise routine!

I tried this watch for 3 days and absolutely couldn't stand it! Not only was it super laggy, the step counter was going up with me just standing in place or shaking my wrist! I truly think this watch belongs in a dollar store not high end stores because thats what you are getting with this watch! I DO NOT RECOMMEND GARBAGE AMAZFIT PRODUCTS WHATS SO EVER! Do not buy this garbage!

First ever smart watch and it's better in comparison to the pricier ones just because it has a lot of options that the others have and it works well. But last night I was sitting down writing a paper for my class and it told me to get up and walk around because I was sitting for over an hour. And then it told me to be concerned because I slept for 11 hours. I was laughing so hard.

Broke in two months, warranty phone line disconnect is disconnected. When you call warranty line they give you an email. I emailed and have not heard back.

I love the long battery and it's great to track my indoor biking. I did mainly get to call for help cause of medical issues and it sounds great.

So this watch does not stand up to an apple or a Samsung watch in any way shape or form it's a cheap knockoff and if you want that and you like that then I guess go for it otherwise save your money and get a better watch that's going to last longer and has more features and is not well frankly it was cheap and yucky. Sorry. And by the way someone stole my Samsung watch so I had to purchase one on the fly I just got the wrong one I guess.

I purchased the AmazFit Bip 5 from Target and it didn't last a year. The Manufacture Warranty of one year says to return the product to the store you bought it from which was Target. I returned to the same Target I bought it from and showed them the warranty. Target refused to stand by this product and the manufacturer's phone number is out of service. Don't waste your $89 on this watch and don't buy from Target. You are better off buying from Amazon which actually will accept the return and stand by their products. I wasted 3 hours of my time going to Target and dealing with Target on the phone. Terrible customer service.

Definitely comparable to a Fitbit, but for a fraction of the price. For any women wondering, it does also track your monthly cycle. Glad I made the switch!

This is my 3rd day having this device and so far I am in love with it!!! First off my reasoning for buying this had to do with 2 reasons- 1. What is the most similar to an Apple Watch(I have an IPhone) where I can make/receive calls and receive notifications such as texts, Facebook Messenger, Messenger Kids(for my daughter), emails, etc. 2. Mildly wanting to be motivated to increase my fitness levels and track my sleep. I came across this watch and I am pleased to announce it does all of those things! Makes and receives calls on the phone via. Bluetooth(your phone must be nearby) receives texts, Facebook Messages, Alexa notifications, Life 360 notifications, emails, instagram notifications/messages, weather alerts, as well as others(although you cannot reply to any of these). I am also now more motivated than before to increase my steps due to the fitness features on this phone. You can also add family members to track their step progress and sleep for the day as well as “nudge” them to motivate them. I have not checked the waterproofness of this yet although it claims you can swim in it up to 4 feet deep. You however cannot wear it in hot showers, sauna, hot tub, etc. My only complaint- although very minimal of a complaint is the battery life. It is supposed to last 10 days and I have every health monitoring thing on max level and it has decreased 27% hours over the last 2 days so it definitely won’t be lasting the 10 days. Buy this watch if you cannot afford an Apple Watch!

It is a great watch, no doubt. But for this much money just get an Apple Watch or something. Great value for the money though.😀

I love it so so so so much! Long last battery

I love this watch, the battery goes a long way, I charge the watch in between showers & used day & night, it’s great!

This watch is amazing. It has everything from steps, BPM, oxygen saturation, stress levels, to my calendar, messages even my camera alerts. A must have for people like me, who have lupus and go into flares and want to monitor my health and BP. It also has so many free/purchasable watch skins. I love it!

Watch seems functional enough just bought 3 hours ago. Easy set up haven't tried calling or sms yet. 3 stars because it only comes with 5 faces each face after that is $1.99 that is a rip off.
