Q: I have 1 of these units as my home router. I would like to add 2 units from this 3-pack to my home system. Will I be able to use the remaining unit on it's own as a router in another location?

A: Hello Jane, thank you for your question. Yes, you will be able to use the remaining eero Pro 6E unit as a standalone router in another location after adding the other two units to your existing home system. Since all eero Pro 6E units are identical, you can set up the remaining unit to create a separate network by performing a factory reset on the unit and then following the standard eero app setup process for a new network. Without more specific details about what's not working, here are the most common troubleshooting steps: First, ensure all cables are securely connected, especially the ethernet cable between your modem and eero. Power cycle your network by unplugging your modem for 30 seconds, plugging it back in, then doing the same with your eero after the modem restarts. Make sure you have the latest eero app version and that your phone connects to the eero's setup network during initial configuration. Check that your eero firmware is updated through the app, and position your eero units in open areas away from thick walls and metal objects that might cause interference. If these steps don't resolve your issue, you can reach eero support at support.eero.com or contact Amazon Customer Support 24/7 at 1-888-280-4331 for further assistance. Full disclosure, I work with IT systems quite frequently so this is very familiar to me, but the first thing I noticed was how easy it is to set up. You get a super detailed walkthrough on the app of what / when to do things which I loved. In terms of performance, this is quite literally the fastest WiFi I have had. Super recommended.

I had connectivity issues with my wifi as the range was never sufficient. this is a blessing and it works amazing. the wifi has become super fast and I like how I can connect multiple devices. I like using the app to be able to check what devices are connected. I have faced zero issues with wifi since I started using this mesh. I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed the Eero and immediately could see a great improvement on speed. I had a router and extensions placed around my house. I was able to replace one for one and have a perfect test case for measuring improvement. I wasn't a fan of the security subscription. I did have some issues with a wifi printer but it ended up being a windows thing.

We have about 4000 sq ft home and these help us stream 8k TV without any issues in different rooms. Setting up was super easy just follow the instructions that come with the pods. We have about 3 pods covering most of the home.

It is easy to get your pods set up, and once they're connected to your wifi, you have consistent, full speed internet, all around your home. Best part is the phone Bluetooth capabilities!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had multiple routers, from differing brands throughout the years of WiFi. The coming of WiFi6 was a blessing to accommodate an only growing number of connected devices to my network. There are so many smart devices and brands that make them, you’re bound to have compatibility issues. I’ve had issues with my household’s security cameras just not showing up as available to connect on hubs that were promised to make managing all of them seamless. The eero Pro 6E tri-band mesh Wi-Fi 6E system (3-pack) has been surprisingly seamless the short time I’ve been using them. The app is dummy proof, set up was simple, and I have not had any issues requiring a customer support yet. The package of 3 was a nice size to cover my home’s square footage, and I was grateful for the technology that supported 8K streaming. I hope to never have 100 devices connected to my network, but eero claims to support them all if the situation should arise. A truly wireless home is becoming more real with this mesh network system, with a WiFi speed that exceeds CAT5e, so I am impressed with this eero Pro 6E system.

By having the Eero you are able to have better wifi than the regular router/modum that your internet provider would give you. this has allowed me to mount a TV outside and be able to stream anything I want. My Girlfriend is very happy that I pulled the trigger on this

Right out of the box you will find that it is extremely easy to setup and offers great coverage over the entire house hardly any signal drops. The looks are not a buying factor but it still takes the cake when compared to a lot of other products on the market. It also works as a hub so you can control all compatible smart devices.
