I love the lamp itself, definitely worth the price but I had to drive to 3 different targets to find one that wasn’t scratched. The glass itself isn’t brown, it’s clear glass with a brown coating and they aren’t protected in the store. The one I ended up leaving with was unscratched until I got to checkout and the cashier scratched it. The shade says “remove protective film before use” but they had all been removed for display so many of the shades were stained. Just leave it in the packaging, target.

A little bigger than I was expecting but overall a quality lamp. The bottom of the amber glass is open so you could potentially but something it and the the top of the lampshade is enclosed for a softer lighting effect but can also be removed if you want more bright light.
